I contacted Bell Channel for a quote for 5 nights and 8 dives for$600. The dive shop Carrabean Divers is on the site. When I got there the dive shop said "sorry, I have no other divers so I can't take you out.. This really left me in a bad state as the purpose of the trip was diving. He... More

A week with Liz and her staff made the island experience absolutely wonderful. Our group was treated like royalty. The rooms were cleaned daily and any requests were met with a smile. The restaurant is an interesting experience with authentic island fare and specialty drinks and you may happen upon conversations in lovely island lilt, Spanish, German, Portuguese, or Swedish... This hotel has great food and the best staff. They will take care of everything you could ever need. Clean rooms equipped with all the amenities. The owner is visible at all times. The most enjoyable trip I have taken in 10 years. Hotel has a nice bar. Nice pool and deck area. Hotel overlooks a canal that is just... More

First, what I always like to do is stay at the best value. This Bell Channel Inn is definitely a great value. I am always prepared to accept or overlook a few things that maybe you would expect at a less expensive venue, but here I really did not have any issues at all, room was clean, water was hot,... We, a family of three had the most wonderful 14 days stay at the Bell Channel Inn in November 2010. The hotel offers large comfortable rooms, some of which have newly been redecorated. We had one of these rooms overlooking the most beautiful channel with the hotels diving boat just down the stairs, if you are interested in diving. All... More

Bell Channel is located in Lucaya, a short drive to Port Lucaya and beautiful Bahamian beaches. Rooms are large but spartan. Staff bends over backward to be helpful. The restaurant is upstairs and overlooks the canal. Breakfast was good but $2.25 for a cup of coffee and no refill is not a good thing. There were two huge annoyances during... More

My boyfriend and I picked Bell Channel Inn because it was economical and not too far from Port Lucaya. You can definitely take the bus and/or taxis to Port Lucaya, but if you want to save on transportation money and don't mind a little exercise, it's only about a 20 minute walk from Bell Channel. The best part about this... More

At first sight of the place, I was taken aback by the flamingo pink exterior of the hotel with white accents. It gave it a great, welcoming vibe. The courteous staff gave us our keys and we led ourselves to our new home for the next few days. The room was definitely not posh like a 5-star Las Vegas suite,... More

I stayed here about 3 years ago. It was away from everything but the cheap bus stop was down the street. The hotel is old but very cute. The rooms were spacious but old also. The food was the best part about this hotel. They also give you free conch fritters at the bar. I would stay here again for... More

My experience of the Bell Channel Inn was: A place with a high service standard, a staff who would do a lot to help their costumers, a high level of service and always smiling - an excellent place for relaxation and opportunities for exciting activities.
