We went in late February with some friends primarily to fish for bonefish. We had ridiculous tides and bad weather which threw off the fishing for several of the days. Then the last day we had one of those days the Bahamas are famous for, with bonefish everywhere ( "Thanks" Shine). This was my first bonefish trip, but for sure...

This was our fifth stay at Swain's and we again received excellent service from Cheryl Bastian and her staff. We had 8 anglers this year and each thought it was a great adventure. The accommodations are clean and comfortable and the food delightful. Birthday cakes were even baked to celebrate two birthdays. The guides we fished with were, experienced, hard...

This place is amazing. Such great people. Sheryl and her staff did everything to make sure our stay was awesome. From greeting us, to setting us up in our room, to preparing and serving our meals, and making sure we were on our way to the flats with a great guide and a good lunch. Highly recommend!

Cheryl makes you feel right at home and puts together a tasty lunch Bahama style. My wife enjoyed the beach and snorkeling while I was fishing. We are already planning our next...

I went here with my family in the summer, it was wonderful. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the kayaks and the water is very shallow and safe. They also had bicycles that you can ride and tour the island. The kitchen staff try to cater to you needs and the meals are cooked...

We have just returned from a 10 day trip to the Bahamas, most of that time spent at Swains Cay Lodge. It was a great trip with superb weather and good service by staff who have been there for several years and treat their guests like returning friends. I have to mention the delicious Conch Chowder which is a must-eat....

A friend of mine and I decided to take a long-weekend girls trip to the Bahamas and wanted to stay somewhere off the beaten track where all we were required to do was RELAX! Swain's Cay certainly fit the bill for us. Even though it is known as a bonefish lodge (and we were not planning to fish) we decided...

just returned from 4 day stay at Swain's. The manager, Cheryl, runs a first class fishing lodge. The rooms were spacious with comfortable air conditioning. When returning from fishing, the room was spotless with lots of fresh, fluffy towels. The meals, prepared by chef Pam, were excellent Bahamian cuisine- fish, conch, bbq ribs, key lime pie and fully stocked bar....
