We flew in to this private place, Wow! The place is small, but the runway was right next to the resort. Lovely pool, awesome beach and friendly staff!! There is a marina close by, the resort provides bicycles, and great to watch the nurse sharks come by when the fishermen come in!! The beach is great and only a short...

We stop hear yearly to fish for Blue Marlin. The marina is well appointed but not fancy or updated what so ever, dont expect a resort atmosphere this place is as raw as it gets and we love it. There is a small club house that is a short bike ride away from the marina and you can just pick...

We have been island hopping the Bahamas all winter. We have stayed at some of the best marinas in the best locations in the Bahamas. Hawk's Nest has been our favorite place. Right off we were welcomed as if we had been staying there for years. The managers of the marina are accommodating and are there to make your stay...

My husband and I LOVE going to Hawks Nest! JR & Randy (the hosts) run a fantastic resort perfect for fishing, walking the beaches searching for shells, or just laying around enjoying the tropical breezes!

We have been to Hawks Nest 3 times in the past 10 years and love it for its remote beauty. Getting there isn't always smooth - we have missed connections before and had to spend the night in Nassau because the runway on Cat is small and at the time was not lit so no night flights could come in...

My wife and I have been to Hawks Nest Resort three times. It is a beautiful resort. We fly in on Skybahamas and then are picked by the resort or take a taxi. The rooms are spacious and wonderful with ocean views. The restaurant and bar are exceptional. You have your choice of fresh fish and lobster which are caught...

I went with a few of my buddies on an 8 day Blue Marlin fishing excursion to Cat Island at the end of June/first of July. My friend has a 60ft sportfisher he keeps in Florida most of the time so we do a few Bahamas trips each year. We flew into Nassau (which I hate by the way) and...

Hawk’s Nest, although it can be reached via commercial air to Cat Island followed by a rental car or rather long taxi ride, really shines as a destination for private pilots or boat owners who can take advantage of their sheltered marina and nicely paved private airstrip. We visited only briefly during an island-hopping run but enjoyed our stay and...
