The hotel was very quiet during our stay and there was not much to do. It was very close to the hotel but a distance from the town. There are only a few rooms in the hotel. Rooms were very clean but outdated. The shower water was warm and there was no hot water. The restaurant or bar was not...

Fantastic!!!! It is very hard to find a better one in the world. The hotel is clean but needs a lot of investment. I just can not understand how such a beautiful property is in such a bad shape. The girls that work there are LOVELY!!! All of them!!!

The Hotel: The hotel is basic, but clean. Don't expect this to be 5 stars. That being said the beds are comfortable, the room is clean (and kept clean daily), there is a refrigerator, etc. They will provide you with towels for the beach at the front desk. WIFI only works in the lobby area. Ann will make local calls...

I knew this was going to be a great experience when I called 10 days prior to our arrival and asked for them to pick up fresh milk for my kids and when we arrived it was waiting for us. This is that type of hotel, lots of heart and very personal. The next day I wanted to pick up...

This could be such a lovely place, direct at the beach..but is not. If you just want to spent a few lonely days at the beach this is the right place. Over the time we saw only one other person at the beach so it is really a quiet place. The next grocerie is 2kms away and also no other...

Great rustic hotel with character. We stayed here to attend a friend's wedding being held at the Sandals Emerald Bay Resort. Whilst that place dripped 5 star luxury, one could have been anywhere in the Caribbean, whereas Exuma Palms provides an authentic Bahamas experience. The staff were friendly, bit too friendly with the spirit measures, but we didn't mind! Try...

This is a such a relaxed hotel, genuine character, beautiful beach and such friendly people working in it. Try local dishes, the goat pepper will blow you away. A special mention to the resident dog/lifeguard who will chew the toes of tourists sleeping on the beach below the high tide level. Extra bacon that dog.

Anne and the staff at the exuma palms hotel were the greatest hosts in the Bahamas. We were accommodated on all our requests on a trip that was planned on their busiest weekend. Their restaurant was great with local fare. The beers were always cold and available. Their beach was quiet and beautiful.. The rooms were great with very comfortable beds....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a new hotel on Exuma, in the midst of a transition, striving to bring you casual but fine dining, ensuring you have fun, minimizing your impact on the environment and maybe teaching you something along the way. Our on-site marine biologist Nicole will be happy to assist you in your personal discovery of the local flora and fauna. She has also implemented many environmental reforms guiding the resort to a more sustainable and harmonious place without hindering quality nor comfort. Because her passion lies with the ocean, Nicole is very knowledgeable about the marine environment and is willing to help you organize excursions. You can experience the world famous swimming pigs, James Bond's Thunderball Grotto, the world's oldest marine conservation park or discover the life beneath the turquoise, clear water. We want you to have a nice, relaxing holiday, enjoying local customs and activities, but ultimately coming back to the comfort of your ocean view room with private balcony. Here you can enjoy coffee in the morning or Caribbean cocktails as the sun sets. We would love to share our passions and values with you, in a way that will only enhance your vacation, leaving your footprints in the pristine white sand, and not on the environment. We are not a chain hotel, therefore we offer the ultimate personalized experience for every guest, including young adventurers. We look forward to sharing our piece of paradise with you, and your visit. ... more   less
