We just returned from staying at EBR & really enjoyed our stay! Frankie, Gwen & Dominic all were so welcoming & really made us feel at home & helped us with anything we needed! This resort has such a small family feel to it which is just what we wanted vs. a big all-inclusive. Very quite, relaxing & laid back! Thanks EBR!

Unfortunately I had to cancel my trip a month before arrival and they have not refunded my money despite several requests. I’ve spoken with and emailed the resort several times and have been promised a refund but at this point I think they are just stringing me along.

This place suffers from major deferred maintenance . The room had no chairs, only one light, no WiFi. No safe. The refrigerator was noisy and rusty. The sliding closet doors were rusty and off the tracks. The exterior lights didn’t work. The pool was murky; I guess a pump broke down. But the bathroom was the worst. Rusty fixtures, no tub stopper, broken tiles, broken towel bar. Only two people work here so the office is randomly locked. Ice is locked up so if no one is there, no ice. Coffee might be ready by 7:30 but it might not. It would have been one star but the two employees were nice. And BTW, our neighbors there said that their door wouldn’t even lock! This could be a nice spot with a total rehab.

Firstly the room was drastically overpriced for the condition it was in. -the floor tiles were cracked and shakey -bedroom furniture were beaten up and destroyed -ceiling fan blades were bent out of shape -there was no hot water - warm at best -tv reception was scambled -worse of all, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable -bed linen were stained with rust -hotel claimed there was wifi, but no info was provided -no iron -no ironing board -no refrigerator -no microwave -one single hanger was provided in the closet

Check in was smooth and the room was EVERYTHING! We stayed in the hoopers suite which was huge! There is beach access few steps out the room. The shower was clean and nice with the pull down shower head. The food at Latitudes was so good I had to tip the chef. If you need anything the staff is friendly GWEN is so sweet and always willing to help. Frankie at the front desk was very kind and available during the day. EJ AND Princeton at the bar made excellent drinks and had awesome customer service. There is music and dancing on the weekends but the vibe is very relaxed and care free. I like this resort because we felt secluded but still close to George Town , fish fry and other attractions. Will definitely stay again!

We arrived early in the morning and they were very kind to give us a room right away. However, after having already arranged everything we realized that the shower was broken and we had to change rooms. The rooms are ok, the bathroom is not well cared for that price. In the evening, we noticed that they didn't change the bed before giving us the room, so it was full of various hairs from the previous hotel guest. Back from vacation we both have legs and arms full of bites from dirt bugs. The breakfast is too poor. The staff however is kind and the food in the restaurant is good. Tha bar closes already at 9 p.m. The location of the hotel by the sea very nice. The price is too high for such an hotel! I know Exuma island is expensive, but for 200 $ pro night I expect at least a clean bed.

I had booked this resort for a family member and then last minute plans had to change due to extenuating circumstances. While I did not stay at the hotel, I did stop in the hotel and spoke with them in person. I wanted to write a review to say that the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and I really appreciated their assistance. My review is solely based on the excellent customer service I received as I was not a guest at the facility.

This resort is the worst we ever been too. We had a one night reservation dueto flights being changed and could not get into our actual booked resort. We arrived at check in time to find out the room we were booked was not available, they told us the people who were init wanted to stay and they couldn't kick them out. They told us they had another room but needed to be cleaned. We waited an hour and a half for them to scramble cleaning it. Then when they took us to the room, they could not find the keysfor the deadbolt. After scrambling around trying keys they could notfind a key to lock the room!! At that point I asked for my money back and stormed out furious... the whole resort is very run down and dirty. The room they tried to give us looked like it was a storage room or break room for their employees, it had mould all around the shower and wall in bathroom.

Beautiful hotel on the beach 5 minutes away from George Town. Hospitality is great, in particular Gwuendolyn is always capable of making you laugh, making your stay cozy and providing help with your tours on the island also by booking car/taxi/watertaxi. Without a car you are a bit limited (small market and George Town are at about 20/30 minutes walking distance), but there are beautiful beaches at 5/10 minutes walking distance. Rooms are not luxurious, but are very clean (daily cleaning) e renovated. Bathroom in great conditions. Additional things: big TV, in room AC, fridge and a good wifi in all places. Our room had both garden view and sea view. Continental breakfast is very good, mainly coffee milk cereals bread butter jam muffin fruits. They have a great restaurant: Latitudes. It has tables both indoor and outdoor at sea. Even if choice is a bit limited, it is all delicious. We had either lunch or dinner all week and staff is just great. We suggest in particular Conch fritters as appetizer and fish of the day (tuna if available). Also Turkey club sandwiches were very good. We will for sure come here again!
