We stayed here on our way into south wales in a camper van. The car park is vast - we even got a space despite the local running club using the pub as a base. Very warm welcome and really good food. If you get the chance ask Sid to cook you breakfast - the sausages were fab !!

My daughter and I stayed here for diving training at the NDAC centre which is ten minutes up the road. A really lovely hotel - rooms basic but clean and beds very comfortable. Stunning views over the Severn Estuary. The hotel is almost directly beneath the old Severn Bridge but is quiet nevertheless. The commodious bath which could accomodate my...

Only stopped for one night and not in the Inn but in our camper as they allow us to park free for one night within a scheme we have paid into. However, very hospitable hosts, food looked lovely and a good selection. Enjoyed a few glasses of wine overlooking the river through huge picture window in front of a log...

Just back from a 3 day stay. Very nice room, not all are ensuite so be sure to ask if you want one. We had 2 meals in the restaurant and both were very good, service also good. Views from the restaurant and our room really lovely.

We visited here the first time today after I did a search for dog friendly pubs in the area. On arriving we noticed that a coach party had arrived ahead of us so expected to be kept waiting. We were wrong. The hosts were very attentive and our golden retriever was also welcomed which we thought was really nice. The...

Absolutely fantastic food, lots of it and of excellent quality, brilliant views from both inside and outside the Inn. The owners were lovely and also the staff were professional and polite. This is a family friendly pub with games to play chess/Jenga, whilst the adults can have a pint. The Old Ferry Inn pet dog is also a lovely animal...

It's a very dismal, grey day today and enjoyed a warming Sunday Roast at the Old Ferry Inn. The views of the Severn estuary make this venue worth it alone - but an extra bonus that they cater for Vegetarians properly; had a wonderful home-cooked nut roast followed by bread and butter pudding - both courses were really tasty and...

We visited the Old Ferry Inn at Lunchtime after booking in advance. The owners were really miserable, think it was the sight of having children with us! Although Dogs are welcome in the DINING ROOM - barking loudly at that - Children are almost frowned upon, why do a children's menu if you done want them there, or are the...

This is such a friendly pub the landlord and his wife go out of there way to help us. The view of the severn and the old bridge is excellent day and night. The rooms are comfortable and very good value for money. The local real ale goes down well. The food always hits the spot and the breakfast set...

A very warm welcome, delicious supper with great service. The view of the river and old bridge are superb. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The only very slight drawback was no shower. We will definitely be back.
