Visited with my family on 20th august - started off pleasant - except they didn’t make extra beds and supply enough towels and sheets. Was prepared to let it go and continue to enjoy the stay. That evening around 10pm severe drilling of a sign outside our window - looked outside and next door Indian restaurant owner on a ladder outside our window - this was all whilst trying to get kids to sleep - raised a complaint with the manager and they first said they told the restaurant owner to stop then denied any noise took place later on via email. Escalated to general manager - he responded advising he would investigate then failed to reply and ignores my emails since. Avoid as if you have issues don’t expect them to be dealt with professionally. No accountability whatsoever - very odd experience which goes on my interesting stories to tell list.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and well made. We stayed in order to take part in the Dragon Ride, the staff made a secure room available for us to store our bikes and were always brilliant. Parking can be tight, but the large train station car park is only a couple of minutes walk away and we’ll lit.

Sadly disappointed by our 5 night stay here, with friends. Rooms large & modern but windows filthy, shower height adjustment broken, mold around bathroom tiles, uncomfortable beds in both rooms, TV tiny & no remote (asked at reception & told that TV so old they cannot get a remote for it anymore!) it didnt work without a remote either 🤦‍♀️. Air con not working in our room or friends room either. Car park tiny, for 5 cars at a squeeze but, hotel has 23 rooms. No room clean available (due to covid restrictions) but we got fed up having to go down to reception to ask for clean replacement towels, coffee, tea, toilet rolls etc, surely these can be automatically provided outside rooms during a guests stay? Fag ends on floor outside hotel entrance every day, not nice. Sadly not a 4 star, more a 2 star hotel. Indian restaurant next door very nice food & decor, as was 'The Ives' bistro pub in Neath & 'Meat and Greet'
