This site is one of the best kept sites I have stayed in in France the owner and staff are a credit to Les castles the facilities are always clean and the pool is warm the restaurant and takeaway food are fantastic value and well prepared The fishing in the lake is free with carp up to 20 lb The...

Pleasant enough site with a shop, bar with free WiFi and a restaurant, although the latter is not dog friendly. Nothing in the village and the nearest town, Sennecey, is a 10 minute drive. Pitches are large and many are hedged off although, by September, churned up somewhat. Kids will enjoy watching the ducks and the coypu family playing in...

This campsite is described as 'dog friendly' but it is quite the opposite. We were travelling back through France from Italy and stayed for 1 night. We booked dinner in the restaurant and requested a table on the outside terrace so we could take our dog. The temperature was 35 degrees celsius, way too hot to leave our dog inside...

Beautiful campsite with generous level pitches. Clean efficient showers and unisex toilets. Good food at takeaway bar. Pools clean and well kept. Highly recommend. Would like to stay longer next time. Friendly and helpful excellent English speaking reception too!

We stayed here for one night 22nd August. We had a 2 bed Eurocamp caravan that was more then adequate. We ate at the on site restaurant and had the beef bogion which was not as good as we had hoped. Quite pricey too. Overall it was a peaceful park with a great pool

We chose this site as it was a good midway place between Dunkirk and Switzerland to split up our journey. It was a lovely peaceful site, set in beautiful surroundings with the lake and castle. The canvas holiday couriers Jim and Sue were very helpful and friendly and the mobile home was clean and well equipped for all our needs....

The pitches are good but stones from the road end up on them. They are very roomy. We were placed a distance from the playground so had to continually walk there with our three year old daughter while other people were fortunate to camp around it even when they were on a one night stop off. If you are camping...

An excellent family holiday with our 2 sons. They took their scooters and happily scooted about - I would recommend scooters/bikes for kids as it can be a few minutes walk to the bar/pool. Lots of nature including ducks, fish, tadpoles and at dusk behind our caravan was a family of beavers. Swimming pools very clean, you don't need to...

We used this site as a stop over between Paris and further south so we're only here for one night but it was very relaxing. Situated in a remote location there is no traffic noise and the site is beautiful. Everything that you'd expect from a quiet Eurocamp site but probably not great for families wanting lots of entertainment. As...

Wonderful weather, friendly staff, great amenities, super countryside and good restaurant. We stayed in our own tent for five nights on a pitch near the lake. There was a very relaxed atmosphere and the site is extremely well equipped with a shop (where you can also order fresh bread), restaurant, showers, cycle hire, bar and swimming. Highly recommend this site...

Comfortable five star campsite in the grounds of a chateau, offering 160 spacious pitches. A good number of facilities on site: heated pools (one smallish indoor), restaurant in the castle, take away service, bar with free wifi hotspot and terrace, wine tasting cellar, fishing pond. Good cycling around campsite, good starting point to discover the Southern Burgundy area. Easily accessible from A6 motorway so also good for shorter stays en route. ... more   less
