My friend and I stayed for one night (should have been longer as it was nice) as it is very rare to find one which offers such very high standards of welcome, cleanliness and relaxation. From the pot of tea that was made for us on arrival to the warm farewell on departure our stay was fantastic. Our hosts combined...

My Mum and I had a wonderful stay at Einon House, for my Mum's birthday. On request, Alvin very kindly arranged for a bottle of bubbly to be in our room on arrival, which made a lovely surprise for my Mum. We stayed for 2 nights, climbing Mount Snowden during the middle day. Alvin and David were very welcoming hosts...

I would highly recommend Einion House where we received a very warm welcome. Everywhere is meticulously clean, and our en suite twin bedded room was extremely comfortable with TV, wi fi, and tea/coffee making facilities. The full delicious breakfast provided the energy needed for our walk to the summit of Snowdon!! Fairbourne is a lovely quiet, peaceful place with views...

Just returned from a one night stay at Einion House wishing we'd had two! On arrival, Alvin offered us a cafetière of good quality coffee before showing us up to our room which was Room 7 - scrupulously clean, crisp bedding, plenty of drawer and wardrobe space and a wonderful view of sheep grazing in the foreground and Barmouth and...

Stayed with friends as part of a running break; Alvin was a charming host, interested and very helpful. The fact we needed an early start was not a problem as he provided toast and hot drinks and snacks to go! The rooms was really clean and I would definitely return.

Einion House is an excellent establishment. The current owners have run the property for ten years and (usually visiting twice a year) have always maintained the high standard of service. The whole building is spotlessly clean, the breakfasts, from which you have a choice, are delicious, and nothing is too much trouble. On admiring the large ferns/bracken that grow locally,...

We recently visited Einion House with some friends for a one night stay. I must say that we were all delighted with every aspect of our stay. It was spotlessly clean and hosts were very friendly. Full English breakfast, with cereal, toast, fruit, tea and coffee. Wonderful views. Photos do not do it justice. Would certainly stay again.

Another welcome to return to Einion House for a three night stay. Like visiting old fiends in a very well kept home. This remoter part of Wales offers peace and tranquility - a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Friog is well placed for a visit to the delightful Fairbourne Railway, just two minutes away...

The hosts Alvin and David were very gracious and accommodating. They allowed us early entry, greeted us with tea, advised us on the local surroundings and made excellent recommendations for dinner and directions. I would not choose anywhere else to stay in Friog or Fairbourne except the Einion House in the future.

My wife and I visited the area on a personal mission to scatter the ashes of my late brother in law who used to come to this part of Wales regularly to cycle and walk the hills and valleys and whose favourite place to be was the Blue Lake at Fairbourne. We chose Einion House based on previous reviews and...

We were pleased you completed your mission successfully and that you also had the good weather for it and you enjoyed your walk to the Blue Lake too and enjoyed the great views it offers. It was good to hear that you also enjoyed your meal at the Indian restaurant in Fairbourne too. We hope you enjoyed your day in...
