My friends and I have just returned from an absolutely delightful one night stay in Mill at Balloo. We enjoyed the ambiance of The Beam Room complete with original features of the corn mill and The River Room was equally enchanting. It was a pleasure to meet Janice and Paul Acheson who run this beautiful establishment and served us the...

Blown away by this exceptional B&B - its more like a 5 star hotel and some! Location is idyllic - The hosts are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. So much privacy for a B&B also. Cant wait until I have an excuse to go back to Ireland to stay again. Definitely recommend this B&B to...

We had an overnight stay here in December 2014, staying in the unique Beam Room which was absolutely beautiful- tastefully decorated for Christmas. Thoughtful little touches, such as fresh milk and homemade malteaser traybakes, as well as an ample supply of reading material all added to the experience. The breakfast, which was served in the dining room beside the original...

Stayed at 'the Mill' B&B while dining at Balloo House. Short walk to the Balloo House. Beautiful place, exceptionally clean, spacious rooms and a lovely welcome from owners, Paul and Janice. Many of the original features of the mill are maintained. The surrounding area is idyllic.

Lovely place in the scenic area of Strangford Lough where Janice and Paul host you to the highest standards and in true warm / friendly Ulster hospitality. Smart spacious rooms (2#) both well appointed and with many little touches that leave you wishing you had more time to linger and enjoy. Highly recommended

We've just come back from a short break here (we were over for a friend's wedding). It is really a fantastic place, the location, room (river room) and breakfast was wonderful. Paul and Janice are very welcoming - I'd really recommend staying here.

I booked 1 night here as my husband and I were going to the Balloo House restaurant for a birthday treat. It is the closest B&B to Balloo House and only took us about 6 or 7 minutes to walk there. We were so impressed with the Mill and can't recommend it highly enough. we stayed in the river room...

Stayed over to facilitate a trip to Balloo to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The accommodation is wonderful - we stayed in the river room which has it's own conservatory overlooking the small river that's runs along the back of the house - comfy bed, great shower. Warm welcome from Janice on arrival and then Paul cooked a wonderful breakfast for...
