From the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty. Our suite was heavenly, overlooking breath taking views, it was luxurious decorated and extremely comfortable,The food was outstanding, with fantastic attention to detail and a lovely cosy atmosphere in the restaurant. Customs house is the perfect place for a secret escape from the busy life we all leed. We will... More

Just returned from our stay at Customs House Country Inn, compliments of our kids for our wedding anniversary. Having only travelled from sligo, being so close to home, we had little expectation of what a treat awaited us!! From the moment we entered, we were greeted with the most beautiful aroma of home baked bread, and a display of produce... More

We stopped at the Customs House for lunch to break a journey from Donegal to Dublin. We got off to a poor start when my wife visited the bathroom and accidentally stepped in some poo left on the floor, which she then had to clean off her shoes. We told the staff and didn't receive an apology, and she went... More

Stopped for lunch on route to Dublin from Donegal, found it an unpleasant experience. First off, was told that we needed to pay first, before eating. How many couses would be eating, what would we be drinking. This was even before sitting down. Food was a carvery after all that, and very poor carvery at that. Definitely won't be returning... We stopped for a brief coffee break on our drive from Belfast to Mayo. Delightful premises and most friendly and helpful staff. With our coffee, we ordered scones. They were freshly baked and accompanied by generous helpings of fresh cream and dollops of strawberry jam. Delicious. There was also a most inviting carvery where more substantial meals were available and... More

Sis and I booked in on spec. Our room had to be prepared as we requested twin beds. However, the view of a roof did not appeal so we asked to be moved. It was absolutely no problem and we were given a lovely room on the top floor with a beautiful aspect. Sleeping with Sis was the only sacrifice... More

4 of us had dinner in this little gem on the Cavan/Fermanagh border 2 nights last week. On both occasions we were made feel welcome by all members of staff, shown to a table and our drinks order taken in a matter of minutes. The food and service was excellent and all dishes arrived as requested, together to the table.... More

My husband and I stayed here for the sole purpose that it is located close to McNean house in Cavan. We booked a suite for one night which was 116 euro for the two of us. We were very surprised that our bed was two single beds pushed together to make it look like it was a double/twin size, there... More

Stopped for lunch on a trip from Armagh to Galway. Wasn't expecting such an impressive eaterie in such a small spot as Belcoo. An elegant and high-quality resto/pub in a charming village a few miles from Enniskillen right on the border with the Republic/County Cavan. Good food and service, comfortable decor. Recommended.
