My partner and I are just back from a 3 day break at Glen Cova. We booked the Ogilivie Lodge and it was fantastic! Luxury throughout the whole lodge. Underfloor heating, sauna and private hot tub were some of the top luxuries the lodge had to offer. The lodge had lots of extra facilities to give it that added touch... More

Had coffee and scones in the bar here after walking around the Loch Brandy cliffs. Very busy on Sunday afternoon so had to sit in front bar rather than the climbers bar. Good coffee although scone was a bit dry. Always enjoy a visit to the Clova Hotel.

Headed 13 miles up the Glen in the hope that hotel would be open and we'd get a bite of lunch. Not at all disappointed - great lunch, and a nice pint, at very reasonable price. We drove, but around half the people there (Tuesday lunchtime in mid-September) had come by bike. Odd place (didn't see rooms), looked like a... More

On the one and only positive note, this hotel is situated in one of the most spectacularly scenic spots in Scotland. The surrounding area has some stunning walks such as Loch Brandy, Corrie Fee and the Cairngorm National Park. Sadly, I found the bunk house to be in direct contrast to its surroundings. I wish I had camped. I expected... More

Dear Pauline T, We are sorry to learn of your disappointment through tripadvisor, had you made us aware of your issues at the time of your stay we would have tried to rectify the situation. We were aware that the bunkhouse was in need of redecoration and after a busy season we completed the improvements mid October. Once again we... More

Idyllic spot for 2 ladies from NZ and Australia. Gorgeous scenery in the Cairngorm National Park. Seems very popular for walkers, climbers etc. Found accommodation rather dated. Climbing into a bath for a shower not so easy. No view from bedroom.Very strong water pressure. Non existing wifi in room. Should be updated.Need to be at the office area for contact.... More

We stayed for two nights in late August and would happily return for a longer stay to explore more of this beautiful Sottish Glen and surrounding area. It is ideal if you are a walker or cyclist as there is so much to explore. I booked it as I had remembered it from when I was a student in 1987... More

Glen Clova is extraordinary. We wanted a nice secluded getaway for our honeymoon back in February and that's exactly what we got plus more! My husband and I stayed in one of the lodges and thought it was perfect. Great facilities, loved the sauna and hot tub! Even though the other lodges around us were booked, we didn't notice, felt... Attended a friends wedding here Aug 2016. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the staff were outstanding. They were very organised and the food was lovely. I stayed in the bunkhouse which was a great price and just what I excepted. A few friends stayed in the lodges and hotel rooms which were very nice. A... More
