Came here for tea as we are staying at a self catering cottage down the road. The staff are very welcoming and the food was excellent, wholesome hearty pub food, definitely recommend this hotel. Haven't stayed in the rooms so cannot comment but the hotel is full so I'm guessing they must be doing something right

I have passed through West Linton many times and the Gordon Arms is best place to stop and relax. The bar is cosy and friendly, and they serve up top notch bar food, good range of beers and also excellent coffee. Hope to stay in a room next time!!

The Gordon Arms is under new management. Yipeeeeee! It is amazing. The atmosphere is great. Free bar snacks. I've eaten here 3 times since the change and each meal has been outstanding. Service fantastic. Cannot fault it. We are v lucky to have such an amazing pub/restaurant in the village. Highly recommend.

I ate here on Mother's Day and last Sunday. Can't rate this highly enough, Great food and absolutely excellent value for money. Nice wine and I believe they do one of the best pints of Guinness. Well worth a try.

Good place to stop for a drink, great to sit by the open fire and have a pint, and watching the rugby. Change in management recently, seeing changes (for the better), would not recommend the food at the moment however hopefully with the new management this will change. Cannot comment on the hotel as simply went to the pub and...

Have stopped off here three or four times in the last few months on way home from the Lakes. Ideally placed for a bite to eat rather than arrive home quite late and have to start preparing meal. Everything we've had has been freshly cooked to order - fish, chips, haggis, vegetables. Service both friendly and efficient and reasonably quick....

Visited here recently for a family meal. The service and food was truly awful. Crispy prawns were like bullets, garlic mushrooms and soup were not good either. Fish and chips were disappointing, The steaks were unbelievably bad. We should have sent the lot back but no one wanted to spoil the evening. Ridiculously long wait between courses too. Sorry we...

Stayed one night at the charming inn. Our room was very comfortable and had beautiful views of the countryside and the lovely village. We loved the dinner we had as well as the breakfast. Best homemade bread in the world!! Had the veggie spring rolls which were to die for and the steak pie was AMAZING! We loved this place...
