We visited here, and thankfully we managed to book on a change over day between massive hoardes of Geology Students. So, rather than the place being packet, there was only 6 people staying. Facilities were great, and a nice little shop on site, for picking up any essential supplies, as there is not a shop for miles from this place.... More

Nice rooms, nice service, nice location. Little noicy when there are large groups. But we have slept well and had a nice journey. Ideal when you want to visit the north of Scotland. I recommend this place highly

We stayed in the B&B part of Inchnadamph Lodge Hostel and thought we had the best of all worlds -- like a hostel, the kitchen facilities allowed us to cook our own food and the dining area provided a communal meeting space to socialise with other travellers, but like a B&B we had private rooms and yummy breakfast. The location... More

Magnificent setting, good kitchens, large dining room with fantastic views, well heated, excellent showers, large rooms, superb hot showers, free tea and coffee all day, but best of all very welcoming owner and staff, able to offer lots of advice on where to go. Whole facility cleaned regularly, rooms are warm and airy. There is nowhere else in the NW... More

Stayed here during the summer- staff welcomed us very friendly and we did et the full tour around the "old mansion". The hostel rooms are a perfect base if youre out hillwalking all day and the breakfast is included (continental)- but there is a kitchen as well, where you can cook whatever you feel like. If you are stayin inside... More

This is a superbly run and equipped hostel. There were three of us mainly walking the mountains in this region. For this it is ideal. The facilities are excellent. A continental breakfast is included and the kitchen has everything that a group would want. The setting is excellent whether you are a walker, fisher, geologist. or tourist. The staff are... More

We travelled up to the North West of Scotland as a large group on motorcycles. I had perviously booked the whole of Inchnadamph Lodge for the purpose of holding our annual motorcycle rally. Chris the owner of the Lodge, Margret & the staff at the lodge were very helpful in the planning of our stay at the Lodge. We arrived... More

We spent 5 days there with two yound children. Despite the rather bad weather, we really enjoyed our stay there. It was the ideal place to go back too after a rainy day (great drying room!). The staff are very welcoming and relaxed. The common rooms are a good size and well equipped, with games, reading material and information about... More

I recently had the pleasure of staying for one night in the lodge after having a weekend at Inchnadamph as part of a big group of bikers. for the main part of the stay I foolishly chose the hotel next door and it was a big mistake. after the group left I decided to spend an extra night in the... I've been coming to Inchnadamph since before the hostel opened. I love the place, but the Inchnadamph Lodge makes the trip so much better. Chris Rix, the owner is an absolute gem, and has made the lodge one of the most relaxing places I've ever been to. When we arrive, usually for a fishing weekend, more often just for an... More
