Stayed here due to lack of available lodging near Eastsound. Driving around the Island is no problem, and this 100+ year old place near the ferry dock was low priced, and actually very nice. It is old, but so am I. It is clean, comfortable, decent food, good wine, and a fantastic grocery across the street with even better wine.... More

This hotel is over 100 years old and carries forward all the charm gathered over the years. It has been updated several times, so everything is completely modern. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture and furnishings. It is right near the ferry and has a beautiful view of the bay. If you want a brand new Holiday Inn room,... More

there's a dinghy dock below, and you can travel from Blind Bay over for food or happy hours...Charming little community area, with a great grocery store..probably the best one in the islands. You can sit out on the wrap around porch and watch all the boat traffic and the ferry below.

Very conveniently located by the ferry. The staff was friendly when we arrived in the morning, pointing out to areas of interest on the map. However, since our room was not ready yet, we ended up checking into our 3rd floor room only later at night, with no staff in sight to answer questions or assist. The room had two... More

For our first ever visit to Orcas, we chose the Orcas Hotel over others due to its proximity to the ferry and its rich island history. Obvious pluses are the charm and elegance of the building and the friendly staff, which does its best to please. However, we would have appreciated a much firmer bed mattress,WI-fi that did not crash... More

As we neared the ferry port on Orcas Island, we could see the Orcas Hotel welcoming us! It was a short walk and we were right on the front porch walking inside. Some rooms do not have showers or bathrooms in them, but I did my homework ahead of time and we reserved a room that not only had its... More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the historic and beautiful Orcas Hotel. It was well maintained both inside and outside. It's right up the hill from the ferry terminal. We enjoyed watching the ferry's come in through out the day, Breakfast was good in the cafe and our rib dinners were delicious from the formal restaurant. Both nights... More

The historic appearance has been maintained outside and inside with modern amenities making is very comfortable. As soon as you get off the ferry the hotel appears just up the hill. The view is great. There is outside seating, covered and uncovered, ground level and upstairs. There is a café that serves a good breakfast and lunch that can be... More

Built a long time ago but updated and kept immaculately clean. Great breakfast. No elevator. Nice helpful staff. Right across the street from the ferry terminal. You can sit in the 1890s style porch and watch them come and go. A good stop the night before your early AM ferry back to the mainland.

Brought our 11 year old granddaughter with us on our first trip to Orcas. Couldn't ask for a better location. Hotel overlooked the ferry terminal. Our room had a queen bed and a day bed for her. Our third floor room included a shower. This hotel was built in 1904 yet it was very adequate. The breakfasts were delicious and... More
