This is our second time at the Gingerbread, and it's truly magical in every way. This time we were lucky to stay in room 2 which is the one on the brochure. The view, the welcome from Pat the owner, the girls in the coffee shop and in Restuarant are just lovely. When coming to Bequia you have to understand...

I stayed for one wonderful week at Gingerbread. The owner Mrs. Pat Mitchell was everything a foreigner needs. My upstairs suite was large and comfortable. It had a full kitchen and built in small eating area. The balcony was huge with enough furniture and lighting. The 'on property' restaurant was open from breakfast thru dinner. Curtis and Sandra of Challenger...

My husband & I had an incredible stay here- the people were friendly & helpful, our room was gorgeous, and the hotel grounds & architecture were fantastic. We dont usually eat at hotel restaurants while traveling, but the restaurant here was soo good. I recommend tasting their curries, fresh squeezed juices, and of course, the gingerbread.

We booked the Gingerbread hotel through our dive shop as part of the entire diving package, and I have very nice things to say about the entire process, stay, etc. Upon arrival, we were greeting by Pat, who showed us to our room...I believe it was #7, which is under the restaurant. Normally, I would tell you to stay away...

Bequia does not provide Hiltons and Marriots and that is why it is so unique and real Caribbean. The Gingerbread Hotel has a great location on the sea front. The rooms are large with kitchen and all comforts of home supplied, ironing board, hairdryer etc. I was on the island alone and I was more than comfortable at the Gingerbread....

Jumped ship for a couple of nights to 'experience' Bequia! This hotel has character and so do their employees! Loved it! If your looking for the standard "Hilton" room, just move on! If you want to experience the island life, this is the place! Loved everything about it . . . Don't miss the gingerbread at the restaurant!

A walk of 5-7 minutes from the docks along the belmont walkway and youll find the Gingerbread hotel on your left side. Nice cafè with very good cakes(try the carrot cake) The restaurant is also a great place to eat breakfast(try the waffles) and several nights a week there is a live band playing, price level ok. We had room...

Pat Mitchell, the owner, greeted us when we arrived and shepherded us to our second level ocean front room/suite. The large room, complete with a small kitchen and large bathroom, was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of Admiralty Bay right on Belmont walkway which leads right into town. I was so pleased to find that the pictures they...

For optimal enjoyment and best bang for the buck, book an upstairs room overlooking the Bay. We stayed in early November just as Bequia is gearing for high season. Even at low season, rooms run $190 USD. The upstairs mini suites have georgeous view, small kichen and large bathroom (I'm assuming the rooms below are the same). Our room, #2,...
