Cherrytrees is perhaps the best guest house we've had the pleasure to stay in. Ken is the perfect host and the rooms are beautiful. There are not one, but two lounges to relax in and the decor is lovely. Breakfasts great too - especially the porridge! We intend staying here again next year.

We stayed here two nights in September to go mountain biking at Kirroughtree amongst other things. It was an excellent base to get around Dumfries and Galloway. Ken was a very helpful and welcoming host. Room was big, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very nice to come back to after getting drenched and covered in mud! Breakfast was delicious, just wished...

Thanks very much for the lovely review and I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. It never rains in Scotland so not sure where all the mud came from, must have had a dam burst. Glad you got your charger OK. It was a pleasure meeting you and looking forward to seeing you again (come in the dry season).

Cherrytrees and its personable owner Ken set new standards for a small bed and breakfast business. My wife and I were joined by an elderly friend for a social visit to Creetown. I'm struggling to find the slightest downside to staying at Cherrytrees - so I'm giving up. Just go to experience the best accommodation, most amiably hosted, most well...

We spent two nights at Cherrytrees and enjoyed two fabulous breakfasts. The room and large en suite were comfortable and clean; there are also a large sitting room and a TV lounge for guests. Ken is a lovely host - unobtrusive, but also very happy to chat. We stayed at Cherrytrees because we were visiting family and there was a...

Sorry it has taken me some time to reply but I have only just noticed it, TA must not now be emailing when a new review appears. Thanks for the lovely review and I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. I was watching the red squirrels earlier today, I never get bored with them, they are so cute. Thanks...

Spent a week at this B&B, spotlessly clean, with nice lounge and separate TV room. Ken was full of information about the local area and what to do there, if you want to see a red squirrel Ken knows the spot. Our room was quiet and comfortable with our own bath [not just shower like so many these days], but...

Many thanks for this excellent review. So glad you enjoyed your stay, but boy did the week go quick. I was out with some friends the other day and the squirrels were performing, and it proves the old saying "build it and they will come", once gain many thanks.

Stayed here for one night towards the end of our tour of Scotland. Ken was very welcoming, chatty and full of useful local information including tips on where to see red squirrels, which was one of the reasons we chose to visit Creetown. Comfortable night in a good room, with an outstanding breakfast the following morning. Although we didn't make...

A real gem of a place, the whole house suggests "good taste". Everywhere was spotlessly clean, our room was just perfect and our bed was comfortable and cosy. Ken made a much needed pot of tea whilst we unpacked our bags, and it was accompanied by a couple of lovely pastries. Our breakfast was well cooked, and there was plenty...

Cherrytrees is spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Ken is most welcoming and his food cannot be beaten. I'm not normally a B & B person (usually stay in 4 or 5 star hotels) but will definitely book Cherrytrees again, and again. Bed really comfy, and a quiet area. Don't hesitate..........book it before everyone else does if you are visiting Dumfries you...

Cherrytrees B&B is an immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and entirely relaxing place to stay. Upon arrival we were served with a fresh pot of tea and pastries in the lounge.
