We love Trigony - dog friendly, so its ideal for us and the pooch. We had the Garden Suite which was a lovely big room, bathroom, conservatory and private garden - blissfully quiet and unpressured living for a couple of days. Service was friendly and very welcoming. Food as always was excellent - if not even better than last time...

This lovely home had a very spacious and neatly furnished room with huge bathroom. The house is a little rambling, but charming and friendly. Our bed was huge and very comfortable, a great relief after the awful beds in England. Breakfast was delicious and served in the dining room which looks out onto a stunning English country garden. The grounds...

We stayed for 1 night in July on our way back South after a holiday in the Highlands. The house is a lovely 1700s hunting lodge, beautifully kept, with a lovely garden and fabulous location in the low hills of Dumfries. The original owner must have laid out the trees in the garden 200+ years ago and we benefit from them...

We booked in via Secret Escapes on a one-night dinner bed and breakfast basis for 12th/13th June 2013 at a ridiculously low cost. We were given a lovely room overlooking the garden. Bed and bathroom were very comfortable. A welcome glass of champagne was thrown in with the meal. We felt with everything that we were welcome as people not...

Three of us stayed one night on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. We received a warm welcome on our arrival and spent the afternoon in the beautiful gardens before having dinner in the restaurant. Our room was elegantly and comfortably furnished and very quiet. We chose the two-course menu at dinner. The quality of the food was excellent and...

At the end of May we returned to Trygony hotel for a second visit taking our Border Collie dog with us. We were made to feel very welcome and dog biscuits were waiting in our large deluxe room for Milly. We had a very comfortable bed with nice linen and a good bathroom. However the paintwork in the room was...
