What can I say? This fabulous venue goes from strength to strength. Absolutely adore the revamp - lovely, soft lilac decor with tartan upholstery, accessories look fabulous and I loved the matching salt and pepper grinders! Really pretty!!

Booked for 5 couples last Sunday for lunch on route from Yorkshire to Edinburgh excellent food, excellent service, lovely surroundings and excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Worked out about £20 pp with 2 bottles of wine.

I'd probably recommend a more kid friendly hotel for a variety of OHSW reasons. It has good facilities but it is old and the stairs are steep and the road is "just there". If your child is aware and switched on and can endure no WIFI then it should be OK.
