My wife and I recently had our wedding here (4th Jan) and I just want to say how great this place is. The staff are friendly, excellent and nothing is too much trouble. A special thanks goes to Paul and Chris who were spot on and exceeded our every need. Our wedding was a small one (only 40 day guests...

Thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas at the Carnbooth House Hotel, relaxed, warm and welcoming just what we had hoped for over the festive period. The food was delicious,my wife Bonnie who is a chef wishes to convey her warmest thanks to the kitchen staff. This hotel is first class and we hope to return very soon. Christian & Bonnie x

Went for Christmas dinner with all the family (15 Of us) at £65 each, £65 for what?soup that was simply hot water with veg in it, Turkey that was disgusting and even the cheese board was disgusting, how can you go wrong with a cheese board? No atmosphere no music and staff didn't want to hear our complaints. Our sitting...

Marquee was freezing all day. Staff attitudes poor. Toilets unclean. Management never present. Reception staff nonexistent. Would never use this hotel for a function. Was glad to leave and get home. Ordered coffee on arrival which took 30 minutes and was cold but member of staff Steven tell me it's supposed to be cold. !!!! I manage a we'll know...

Did not stay at the hotel but enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant. Very impressive entrance with real fire blazing away makes for a good start. Staff were very friendly and the food was first class. Would definitely recommend.

Phoned and booked for an evening meal for three, so no review of the bedrooms, breakfast etc, just dinner. The quality of the food was superb and the service very professional and the bill for three with a bottle of Pio Grigio was under £60 for two courses. The menus for set meals and a la carte were interchangeable and...

this is an old boys school converted to a hotel. It has been kept tasteful in design. Bedrooms are very comfortable, lovely William Morris/Liberty type wallcoverings. Food excellent, dining room very nice. Staff very helpful. Not too big so not noisy.
