As an active traveler I've been to many places worldwide that are special, but Las Nubes and owner Filip who is Chef de Cuisine made this 5 star experience one of the best in the world for me. The resort is small, intimate and exquisite. I will submit this special place to Architectural Digest to be covered - it is...

Unforgetable experience, we couldn't believe this part of our trip Open buildings giving a feeling that you sleep in the middle of the jungle The view from the pool is incredible. Very nice and helpful team Very luxourious and still "eco" Very good cook too.

Las Nubes must be the purest location in Costa Rica. You can feel the love and care for the environment from the minute you arrive. And you sense you are genuinely welcome. This place is operated with passion, faithful to the concept in every detail. Everything there exhales peacefulness. Filip, the owner, is a natural host. He spoils you from...

We stayed here 2 years ago and it was the best place we ever visited in our life! Beautiful!! We were the only people in the resort and so the owner took us to a beautiful beach and then to a water fall! He cooked with us! It was PERFECT!

My husband and I ate dinner at Las Nubes every night. The private bungalows (4 in total) are a true oasis ... You truly are one with nature here. The resort's...

Amazing place, amazing food, amazing service. It is a really special experience. Makes you feel good about the world that places like this exist out there. Las Nubes is everything it advertises to be and then some. Highly recommend for couples, families, or solo travelers!

Been there for 3 full days. Great place not only for relaxing but also to see animals and natura. The suite is in my opinion the best place to stay. Might cost some more but worth the experience! Ps. Do not follow your navigation because you will end up on the wrong road.

This place is brilliant as is its owner, Filip. The rooms are great, spiral shaped centred around the shower and having bathroom, bedroom and living room all adjacent. The open gate (no doors here!) open to a nice veranda with views on the mountains. The main building is even better with views over the mountains on one side and views...

Great relaxing spot 15 mins up a very steep hill from the main road. 4 x 4 definitely needed but when you get there it is a lively little hide away. Watch a beautiful sunset and then bed down in luxury but out at one with nature. Plenty of bugs and birds forest noises to keep you company.
