Patrick sorted me out with a really cosy room that was comfortable, clean and warm. They gave us loads of information and tips for visiting the local areas and...

Stayed one night here but would have certainly stayed more. The staff were super friendly and very helpful suggesting great walks and things to see and do around the area. The hostel was clean and warm, beds were comfortable and rooms were a good size. Breakfast was only £3 for a good variety of foods. Very assisting in letting us...

Very friendly, helpful, flexible hostel. Eleven of us stopped for accommodation/food en route to Ullapool from Oban on a charity relay run. Nicky and Patrick were great. We made a good choice staying here, it suited us perfectly. Thank you!

Thanks so much for leaving us such a nice review. Hope the rest of the run was great and that you managed to raise some money for the charity! We really enjoyed having you stay with us and hope, should you take the crazy notion to run this way again, you will come back and see us! Best Wishes Patrick...

I arrived at the hostel without booking ahead, and planned to stay 2 nights. The following night was fully booked however the staff went out of their way to arrange for a bed for me regardless. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and were eager to get to know you. There was a large board covered with the...

The staff gave us a lot of tips on what to do in the area. They had a huge blackboard with suggested tours and even some personal tips like visiting the castle when it is already closed, as the locals do ;) Especially the walk to Loch Ness was great, despite it not being the most beautiful or stunning Loch....

It is nice having a castle on the doorstep, isn't it? We're very happy to hear that you had a memorable stay with us. It's also great to hear that you enjoyed the bar! We put Scotland first when it comes to our many ales and whiskies... And we know how important refreshments are after a long hike or drive!...

We came upon this place last minute when we hiked down from Inverness to see Loch Ness. They were able to accommodate my wife and I in a cozy private room for 20 pounds each and my friend in the form for 17. Clean, as far as hostels go. Nothing noteworthy, but it was friendly and accommodating. It's within walking...
