This is a lovely, very small(7 rooms) hotel. The decor is white.....very crisp and clean ...dark wood floors, and antique furnishings. A very intimate and homy feeling...just like the island! Pool is small, but very pretty....great outdoor, jungle like shower by the pool. It is across the street from the Government Dock...and right next to the beginning of the retail...

From the moment we arrived at The Landing we received the most generous of Bahamian welcomes not only from the wonderfully warm and upbeat assistant manager Dawn and Tina who manages the restaurant, but from the whole crew. The setting is idyllic and the rooms, designed by India Hicks, were stunning. Being in the old Library building we had superb...

We had our honeymoon here and enjoyed pretty much every minute. The island is perfect, Toby, Tracey, Dawn and their team work very hard to ensure you have a very relaxing time. Nothing is too much trouble, but everything is 'Bahamian' in nature... relaxed, informal. The food is sublime, the atmosphere nice and chilled. Over on the other side of...

We - family with many kids - arrived by Bahamas Ferry at 11.00 am and could already check in. We had three rooms, two in the main building, one in another building. The Landing is just at the port, one minute walk from the ferry. The rooms are very, very nice. We didn't eat there but I guess the restaurant...

We recently visited The Landing and loved its island charm, character and the very friendly staff. It is a pretty little spot that exudes old-world style and laidback elegance. Having said that, it is quite casual in terms of its amenities. We must stress that all of the staff is wonderful and that our comments are not reflective of their...

My hubby and I just got back from a 3-night stay at The Landing and absolutely loved it. We stayed at one of the cheapest rooms (Hibiscus for $225+/night) yet still found the room to be more than pleasant. Arrived 2 hours before check-in, but they were gracious enough to check us in so we could relax after a long...

I spent two great nights at The Landing three summers ago. The place is first class, family run, and very romantic. The biggest surprise was how great the restaurant was. The food is exquisite, great wine list and Cuban cigars on the patio were perfect.

We travel to Harbour Island on a regular basis and stay at The Landing for a couple reasons. The first is that for what we pay ($225/nt) we get an immaculate boutique family run hotel smack dab in the middle of all the action for which Harbour Island is known and loved. The second reason is charm. The Landing is...

We spent three nights at The Landing and were very pleased with our experience. Owners Tracy and Toby could not have been any nicer to us. We loved the feel of the place. During our stay on Harbour Island, we wandered to most of the other hotels on the island, looking at rooms. Just about every place we visited was...

The goats cheese ravioli is sublime, the atmosphere is chic with candle-lit wood panelled rooms. Privately owned, the Landing is a fabulous place to have dinner. It is expensive but so is Harbour Island and the service should be better, but a must do if you get the chance!

“We stayed in Oleander, which is at the back of the Captain's House. It didn't have much of a "view" and was not on the main street, but was nice and quiet, quite spacious, and quite private as well. Exactly what we were looking for. I can see how some of the rooms along Bay Street are louder, and the balconies are right on the street. But even so, it's a pretty quiet island, so "louder" is a relative term.”
