This was by far the best beach we have ever visited. We were lucky enough to not only spend the week here but to get married here. We were made to feel special by everyone at the resort and we were treated like we were part of the family. Before I extend my review I would like to say that if you want to get married in the most beautiful place in the world then this is the perfect place. We will boast to everyone who asks and we will be coming back. For us, it was a 5* experience however there are some elements that in other parts of the world might be seen as sub standard. For instance, the dining and drinks service is not what you might be traditionally used to in a 5* resort. At the end of the day the reason to come here is because it is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and it is unrivalled in its tranquility and its calmness. I now close my eyes and envisage myself at the Cape Santa Maria because it is my happy place, we can't wait to come back. We would like to say a special thank you to Matt, Kathleen and Francina. Thank you so much for making our stay more than we could have hoped for & we look forward to seeing you again soon. Clem & Vic…
OMG, I don't even know where to start. EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING about this resort was fantastic!. The employees are super awesome and always willing to go out of their way to accommodate you. One of my kids mentioned they would like to have real coconut water and next thing I know once employee was getting a coconut and cracking it open for the kids to drink. Our deep sea fishing trip was awesome and the crew on board was awesome in helping the kids. Loved the servers and bartenders and thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with them. We enjoyed using all the amenities the resort offers like kayaking and paddle boarding. The kids want to come back every year. It was definitely hard to leave to come back home! We already miss the beauty of the place!
Been goig here for a while now. Its the best spot. Everyone here is friendly including manager Matt! The people here on this remote island are some of.the nicest people ove ever met. If youre lookimg for most beautiful.place this is.it
This property is beautiful and the most beautiful beach and water I have seen What lacks here is the service and friendliness of the people that work here. The only friendly person is Matt who is great. Most of the other people working there seemed like it was such a bother to them to have to take our orders or serve our food. The villas have full kitchens so I would recommend stocking it up and cooking your own meal, it will be a much better dining experience.
This might be the most perfect beach on the planet. The villas are lovely and well supplied. The staff is all kind and friendly. The restaurant food is very good and I appreciate all the fresh salad options. Our family loves the Cape and we look forward to returning year after year for many years to come!
Very nice island resort far away from everything. We travelled with two toddlers and had an excellent time there. The beach is probably the most beautiful one we've ever been. We would definitely come back.
The view, beach, sea and general hotel area was fabulous. Couldn’t want for more. The food was excellent, rooms were very decent and very clean, and the ability to use free kayaks, bikes and gym was great. The area around the hotel was fine, there is one long road on the island so you’ll need a car to get to the other end. Not a lot seemed open or available but it’s a small place so that’s life. The peace and quiet of a stunning resort was enough for us and we didn’t need to go out of the hotel too much on a short trip. Service was hit and miss. Some people were great, friendly, quick and helpful. Others were going through the motions and not filling me with confidence that my request/order was going to happen. If this was sorted out it would be a perfect place to visit.
Because it is the most beautiful, relaxing place we have ever found! We visit the Caribbean 4 - 5 times a year and the only place we go year after year is CSM. We always stay in one of the bungalows, you are literally "on the beach". A huge screened porch overlooks the calmest, cleanest, largest, warmest protected cove you can imagine. No phone, TV, pool or nightly entertainment and the staff, many of which have been with CSM for as long as we've been visiting remember your name, quickly learn if you want your bacon or fries "crispy" and treat you like family. CSM also has a number of "villas", with full kitchens, TV, phone, etc. but if you want privacy, quietude and relaxation, go for a bungalow! There is NO seaweed of any kind, none, zero like you will find in Cancun. The restaurant is very good, huge portions! Sometimes they may be out of something on the menu but there are many different options for meals, from wings, pizza, several kinds of fish served different ways, lobster, steak, pork. You will never be hungry!…
Most beautiful and relaxing vacation we have ever taken. We stayed in a villa. Very roomy for our family of four. Was a little worried that our young adult kids would get bored, but they did not! We did kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, site seeing, and spent time just relaxing on the beach. Staff is great! Food is delicious! Loved it!!!
Thé place is amazingly beautiful! The friendly welcome by the manager well appreciated. Thé service at the restaurant needs improvement. Staff should not spend their time on the phone… and should take care of clients
