Grounds lol. Looks more like a Steven Avery s back yard. Uncomfortable, feral and decaying house. Hot water shortage, ridiculous cabins dotted around everywhere. Nobody present - got a spooky atmosphere. Whole face feels on brink of collapse. Good for v feral stag parties that want to go beserk and burn furniture etc but even then a rip off.

Have to redeem This place after what seem like over exaggerated moans. From arriving here I was greeted in a most pleasant manner and couldn't be happier. Purchased on groupon I visited the kakoons along with my partner at the end of September This year. We had all our belongings taken to our kakoon via the owners quad bike and...

I don't think there's anything i could say that hasn't already been mentioned in other posts. However, i seen that this was back up on offer on holidaypirates and felt guilty not warning people of this place. I went with my partner, my brother and his wife. We stayed for three nights, and although we had fun that was because...

After reading reviews I feel obliged to write my own. Like others we bought through Groupon. Upon arrival we were left sitting in the car park for 10 minutes after the husband that deals with the Kakoons was out. He was a lovely chap to talk to, showed us to our Kakoon which was behind the house, we walked past...

I visited with my partner and our friend and we loved the experience. The kokoons are surrounded by woodland - we spotted a deer, squirrels, a woodpecker, bats, an owl! We enjoyed getting back-to-basics, cooking on the campfire (wood available to purchase on site, £15 = 1 wheelbarrow full which kept our large fire going all evening until the early...

I booked the two night stay through Groupon having stayed at similar sites and in wigwams elsewhere. I tried unsuccessfully to contact both the mansion house and camping 365 for the week running up to my stay to see what facilities or upgrades were available and also whether dogs were permitted. No one returned my emails or responded to my...

We arrived in the early evening to find some confused looking guests of the neighboring mansion house and no one in attendance. After a couple phone calls we met the guy in charge who didn't even remember booking us in. Got a very bumpy ride perched on the back of a quadbike down to the campsite where we spent waited...

My partner and myself booked to stay here for 2 nights after purchasing the Wowcha deal. When we arrived we were greeted by Dave who was very lovely and helpful. He showed us around the grounds, to the toilet/shower area and then to our kacoon. We were in the very first kacoon no 4. When we opened the door we...

A friend and myself tried the glamping experience here at kokoons, kirkhill mansion. The kokoon we were shown to was clean enough and exactly what I had expected. There were two seats outside our kokoon next to our fire pit, but we left to explore and when we came back someone had taken them, which left my friend and myself...
