We found this place scrolling google maps and gave it a go. We were astonished. Combining old fisherman settlement with modern approach in tourism you get unique holiday. You can choose between beautiful view from your room or the most beautiful view from private beach bellow the villa. Here I must emphasize that beach is flat combination of marble and concrete covered with retractable awnings. There we have enjoyed our brief vacation on comphy deck chairs, with occasional swimming or diving. And water is cristally clear thanks to nearby underwater springs. Alltough you can find this in elsewhere in Montenegro we got surprised by hospitality of the hosts. We found warmth from welcome to everyday talk and service which we couldn't get in some larger 4/5* places. And that feeling of being at your own home at sea is the finest link with surrounding nature and peace.…
Very nice place direct at the water. Great view from the room and very friendly host's who are doing their utmost to make you feel home. The breakfast is every day different and you get local specialities.
Very beautiful place. Welcoming and polite people. Nice food. Stunning view of the area. The Sea just in front and few steps from the door. Very highly recommended. One of the best places I have visited
Just back today from a week at the Villa Kristina. I was bit concerned due to some of the reviews, but needn’t have worried. We were made very welcome from the start, we had room number 3 which to be honest is on the small side which was ok for my husband and I. However if you are looking for a bit more room then maybe look at one one of the other rooms. Our room was very clean and the bed was amazing 2 singles pushed together with tempura mattress brilliant nights sleep. The kitchen area is a tiny galley kitchen with 2 electric rings, electric kettle and small fridge. There was enough plates, knives and forks for 2. We didn’t eat breakfast as we prefer cereal in the mornings, but we did take advantage of the coffee and juice. We did eat in the restaurant two nights a salad both times for me and chicken for my husband, I am a vegetarian so feeding me isn’t easy. The lady chef is a lovely Serbian lady with very good English, Kristina and the other blond lady (sorry I cannot remember her name) were lovely polite and very helpful. We took a taxi to Tivat twice which Kristina arranged for us, if you do this ask the driver to pick you up for your return journey it’s €12 each way but if you take a taxi in Tivat from the taxi stand it was €35!! Because he got lost so be careful. Around the villa it is very quiet there is a Konoba over the road which is really nice. If you keep walking past the Konoba there is a supermarket called Queens which is about 20 minute walk. There are some supermarkets and cafe/bars if you turn left out of the villa keep walking until you come to T junction turn right again about 20 minute walk. Also the Villa has 2 small dogs Vicki and Helgar they are lovely and friendly. Very nice relaxing holiday thank you Villa Kristina.…
Absolutely inappropriate behavior of the hostess. She made a disgusting scandal and showered me with dozens of insults. At the beginning there were not very critical problems: 1)According to the hostess words, my reservation did not seem to come, so the check-in took a lot of time 2)Poor wi-fi 3)Very bad smell in the bathroom (in the room with the jacuzzi). It could be the end of the story. But in the late evening, when we went to the reception to use wi-fi, which did not reach our room, the hostess stopped me with the question what exactly I did not like. I replied briefly that I did not like the poor wi-fi and the bad smell in the bathroom, and that I was not expecting this from a 4 stars guest house with a rating of 8.7 and priced at 116 euros per night. She took it as a personal insult and started shouting at me in Russian: “You are a very bad woman,” “You are in my house, how can you say such things to me! I feel sorry for your husband that he is married to you,” “You have very bad energy, you will never become a human!", "I don’t need your money, if you don’t like something just leave! I will call the police!" And other nonsense. It was impossible to calm her down, and 10 minutes later another employee took her away. We left at 7 a.m. and did not eat prepaid breakfast, so as not to face with another scandal. Also there was attempt to play a trick on Booking. After I checked in and paid my reservation was canceled due to the fact that I did not come. This was done in the night so that I could not leave a bad review and (may be) so as not to pay a booking fee. I had to write in the support and send them a bank receipt for payment, after that Booking restored justice. It seems that they periodically do it and that's how they have high rating. I predict the answer "We work for 20 years, everyone are always happy and you are the worst guest who stayed just for one night". Guys, you are my worst experience too. I visited dozens of countries and use Booking for 8 years. One night stay and criticism from a guest is not the reason for a rudeness. If we liked you apartment, we could stay longer, but it happened visa versa. I wish you to learn how to work with negative, it seems that you can't stand it at all.…
