A great cottage in one of the best spots on Cape Breton Island. The cottage was very well stocked with all ammenities and impeccably clean! Great view of the ocean and the evening sunsets. Plenty of room for 2 couples. Peter and Joan are great hosts and ensure you have everything you need to make your stay a memorable one....

Thanks . Next year you'll have to golf the Cabot Links and Bell Bay , both within 40 minutes . Every review helps us prepare for the future . Our Cottage is called "Acres and Ocean" because we now have to advertise the cottage as being separate from the Ocean Haven B&B , so you will also see a separate...

Nice room with an ocean view and full access to a mostly private living room which also overlooks the ocean. This is a small B&B and we were the only visitors so we felt a bit like we were staying with friends. The hosts are good at what they do and weren’t intrusive at all. Our breakfast was wonderful (nothing...

We stayed in the ocean view room at Ocean Haven B&B on September 7th. The property is well maintained, thoughtfully decorated, and spotlessly clean. We took a nice walk to the ocean the afternoon we arrived, and spent the evening in the cozy living room which also has a lovely view of the ocean. The next morning, Joan cooked a...

I love this cottage and every time we go to Cape Breton we make sure to stay at Ocean Haven. One can sit on the deck, watch the ocean, and let the cares of the world wash away. The beds are comfortable and the cottage is spotlessly clean. Peter and Joan are great hosts and we look forward to seeing...

The B&B is in a nicely restored old house on a large lovely property well back from the highway. Our room had a window that faced the ocean in the distance. There is a large front porch with chairs that has a wonderful view. There is a good restaurant within walking distance. The hosts were very accomodating & willing to...

We stayed in the Ocean View cottage for 12 nights. We found it to be spotlessly clean, comfortable, convenient, and very well located. The two bedroom cottage has a very well appointed kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, pots & pans and utensils, dishes, etc. It is in walking distance of restaurants and a nice beach....

We stayed here last summer as we worked our way around the Cabot trail, and I have stayed here when I was a kid on a family trip, about 20 years ago. Joan and Peter were perfect hosts, pleasant and helpful without being too intrusive. Make sure you talk to Peter about your route as he is full of helpful...

We selected accommodations in Belle-Cote for our base on the west coast of Cape Breton as it was only a 15 minute drive to the entrance to the National Park and also provided easy access to the Margaree Valley. We were not disappointed. We stayed at the wonderful Ocean Haven Bed & Breakfast. The house is located on a hill...
