Beautiful room (we had the Victorian Themed Room) with excellent host who was a delightfully lady (ask her how she ended up in the manor it's a love story that needs to be heard) Breakfast superb and we also had an evening Persian meal provided by the owner's daughter in law which was beyond description in taste explosion, Fabulous location...

Thank you for your review and so pleased you had a great stay. I really enjoyed meeting you both. I have 3 B/B rooms - the 18th century blue room and the 'nursery ' are both ensuite and have good water pressure. The Victorian room is a suite with it's own landing and a private bathroom immediately next to the...

Group of 7 of us from various parts of the UK and North America walking The Thames, slightly underestimated distance/over estimated walking abilities, fortunately had Fyfield Manor as our safe place at the end of day 1. V comfortable, amazing atmospheric place to stay. Christine v helpful and a great breakfast.

Don't expect bland perfect hotel accommodation, but expect true character which reeks of history, Breakfast was excellent - great care taken over the ingredients. Owner very helpful and steers that difficult line between not friendly enough and in your face friendly one sometimes find in a B&B, We had an excellent Persian dinner on our last night served in the...

Thank you for taking your time to write such a positive review. It is always a pleasure to meet guests who appreciate old houses and generally enjoy the whole environment. We managed to get a new light fitting which my husband miraculously installed even though he had only the one arm in service! We hope to meet you again in...

Gorgeous old manor house has been lovingly restored by eccentric owner and her family. B&B rooms are very generous in size and located in a peaceful village within easy drive or easy bus trip to Oxford. Found a great walk along the river Thames from Benson to Wallingford that I recommend, as Wallingford is a great village for a visit.

Welcomed into a family home that is also a historical manor house. Had tasty organic full English in the 800+ year old dining room and slept in the respectfully appointed Blue Room. This place has a lot of uniqueness and will suit those not looking for those characterless boxy hotels or semidetached B&Bs. It is set in its own grounds...

We spent 3 enjoyable and relaxing days here. Christine was very welcoming and a constant source of good advice on the local area. The blue room was beautiful; large, airy and warm with a comfortable bed and a huge bath. The manor itself is obviously a 'work in progress' which only adds to its character. Breakfasts were excellent. There is...

We stayed in the Nursery room in May and Christine couldn't have been more welcoming. The manor house and gardens are quite something and the room was beautiful, very tastefully furnished. My daughter was getting over an ear infection and had gone off her food so Christine went out of her way to buy something different to tempt her to...

We stayed in the Blue Room which was very restful, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast, assorted cereals and an English cooked assortment was of a high standard. We stayed here before and after attending a local country wedding. It was ideal. It's a really beautiful old manor house, elegantly furnished, with very few rooms, giving the place an intimate feel. The rooms are very comfortable, especially the beds. Room design could best be described as quirky. I suspect a woman did the interior design and there's not...

Thank you for taking the trouble to write your review. From the description you were in ' the old nursery'. This is also the family room and has been used as a nursery since Victorian times hence the dolls house! It is always productive to have not only positive feed back but also points for improvement . I have had...
