Had a very pleasant visit to this lovely house for two nights, lovely surroundings and rooms excellent as was the breakfast ,the hosts couldn't have been more helpful would definitely recommend a stay here and the Air Show at Shuttleworth was brilliant even though the weather wasn't kind to us,thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, for a bed and breakfast accommodation excellent.

A beautiful old building, quiet, peaceful and relaxing inside, and suitably old fashioned. Lovely hosts, and a superb breakfast to start your day with. Perfect. Would not hesitate to return when next in the area.

A warm welcome, delicious breakfast, and helpful hosts. What more could a weary traveller wish for. A helpful hint on a place to eat. And there was, too, a touch of history with the family's Battle of Britain connection. A simple overnight stay turned into a most enjoyable evening.

The second visit for my wife and I and we were not disappointed as it was as delightful as we remembered. The host and hostess were charming and welcoming and it was a joy to have a guest sitting-room for our use after a hectic drive! Comfortable beds, a good en-suite and views over an English garden made for a... More

My wife and I stayed at Taylard House for 2 nights after being recommended it by a friend. It was easy to find in a lovely village. We were greeted with a tray of coffee and biscuits while we selected what we would like for the next mornings breakfast. We were then shown to our very comfortable room. While it... More

I booked two nights at the Taylard House back in January as we were to attend a wedding in the area in Spring. We were flying in from the States and had an early arrival. Via email Sue, the proprietress told me that an early check in would be no problem which was very kind. Two days before we were... More

A pleasant stay in a lovely warm family home. A warm welcome and kind owners offering fantastic hospitality. Good quality facilities and breakfast was great. Would recommend for a stop. Although not or personal intentions i would advise those looking for a more urban experience that towns are a short drive away but there is plenty to do for a... More

This is a charming house in this rather lovely little village among unusually rolling hills of South Cambridgeshire. Lots of family history to share with your attentive hosts and one of the best night's sleep for a long time in great comfort. Followed by a truly delicious breakfast with much choice for all tastes including our French family members who... More

A beautiful old rectory. Step back in time but with modern facilities and a lovely welcome. Wonderful breakfast in the dinning room and pretty garden to look out on. If you are passing and need a B and B don't hesitate.

Sue was very accommodating and helpful throughout my lengthy stay. She has a lovely house with a lot of history in it. The room was nice and clean. Whilst previous reviewers have said 'dated' or 'cluttered' I feel the atmosphere is far more homely, cosy and welcoming. Breakfast was always fantastic, using the best of the local farm-shop produce.
