Long weekend in the Hayloft. Cosy cottage across the road from the main hotel ... handily located for access at mealtimes. Very helpful, friendly staff. Really good food with local produce, some good wines and an ample breakfast selection. We had serious winds and snow...More

We've stayed here twice before, although it was about 6 years ago since we were here. We've always stayed in either The Hatloft or The Old Barn (I think that's what they're called) and were delighted and impressed that the standard of decor and cleanliness...More

It is a good walk from the car park to the castle but worth the trip. It is very impressive as you walk up to it and very interesting looking around what remains of the castle. Walking around the cliff there is also an abundance...More

Haven't seen many puffins in this area. The best place, as far as I am concerned is Bempton cliffs, between Scarborough and Bridlington., North Yorkshire. Lots of good comfortable accommodation available in this area.
