As usual, a very pleasant stay: comfortable cottage, quaint bar and a very good restaurant. Perfect backdrop to the wonderful coastline at Embleton Bay and the walk to Low Newton and Craster. Ideal hub for travelling further afield.

We've stayed before and the place has been redecorated since. The standard was good and the bedrooms are well appointed. However we were most disappointed with the standard of the evening meals. Fresh and local ingredients were used but there was also a lot of...More

Haven't seen many puffins in this area. The best place, as far as I am concerned is Bempton cliffs, between Scarborough and Bridlington., North Yorkshire. Lots of good comfortable accommodation available in this area.

Hi there! Dogs are not allowed in the bar but we do have a dog friendly lounge available where we can also serve breakfast, lunch or dinner.
