This is our 2nd time staying here. Fabulous friendly b&b pub from the moment we arrived felt right at home !! All food home cooked and a varied menu. We have travelled around and been to many very good restaurants, but never have experienced such amazing home cooked food as we've had at The Red Lion. Hats off to chef...

My wife and I stayed here because of the nearby wedding of a friend. The room was clean and spacious, the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast the following morning was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Red Lion to my friends. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Have stayed at the red lion many times in the past this is our first visit with the dog. The red lion is dog friendly I believe they have 3 rooms suitable for a dog. There is a fee of £10 but this is far cheaper than placing the dog in a kennel for a few nights. Friendly bar and...

I can't speak highly enough about the staff, the room or the building. They did everything they could for us from accommodating our dog at the last minute to storing our bags in an emergency. The building is beautiful and the room was comfy. The village is lovely. A hairdryer would have been useful and the breakfast wasn't the best...

Quaint grade 2 listed pub in a village not far from Cambridge. Recently purchased by new owners who are in the process of renovating. Great service, excellent food and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again if we were in this area.

We chose the Red Lion as it was midway between Ely and Cambridge in a quiet location. Our room was on the top floor of the annexe and it was very clean and comfortable. It had all we needed for a couple of nights and we slept very well. We ate dinner there both nights and the food was hot...

We stayed here for one night whilst going to a wedding at the Old Hall in Ely. Since we were traveling from far away the staff kindly made sure we could have an early check out free of charge. The rooms were nice and the bed very comfortable. Our main light didn't work but we didn't have time to raise...

Lovely pub perfect location for Ely and Cambridge. The room we stayed in needed a bit of tlc but we both had a quiet and comfortable night sleep despite it being a pub. Not much noise at all. Good breakfast too.

Thank Hazel A
