A hotel that deserves more than 4 stars.
In addition to being very nice it is very central, attention to detail, clean, refined, comfortable but above all the rooms are beautiful and spotless. We got a room with a balcony, and it was great to have a view of the city!
Excellent staff and very, very, very courteous and polite. I would go back a thousand times!!!

We were so happy to have had this hotel recommended to us! It is beautifully furnished - our room was very modern with a spacious bathroom with a wonderful shower. There were two balconies that looked out onto the town square. Breakfast included delicious Neapolitan coffee and an ample selection of pastries, cereal, fruit and yogurt. It was lovely to stay in such an elegant place in a charming town. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly too!! They had us park our rental. At right after n front of the hotel’s entrance.I highly recommend the Palace Hotel. It offers a lot of luxury for a reasonable price.

The hotel is right in middle of this quant town. The rooms and hotel are very clean, well appointed, and up to date. The staff was quite accommodating. We don't speak a lot of Italian but the staff was patient and Google translate can always save the day.

Went for school and the entire experience was fabulous. Fabio and Sara were incredibly accommodating. The food at their hotel was exceptional both in taste and presentation. It is the most beautiful building on the street. I felt so safe and comfortable the entire stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks again, Fabio!

For a second year in a row, we were at the Palace Hotel and were again delighted with the place. Extremely clean, and comfrtable. We had a view on the Piazza Nicola Amore and could feel the vibe! We opted to have the breakfast included and happy to have done so. Gianluca, Fabio and his wife and the whole crew really made us feel at home! Many thanks to all. Arriverdecchi!

We were two couples staying here in the middle of May. We were on a bit of a road trip exploring family history – so many Italian Americans on the East Coast, particularly from Rhode Island and Massachusetts, come originally from this area between Rome and Naples. And we were also making our way to the coast, Gaeta, before returning to Rome.
Roccamonfina was an absolute delight, nestled at the top of the mountain, surrounded by groves of sweet chestnut trees and approached by winding roads which curled round this now extinct volcano.
The Roccamonfina Palace Hotel was an excellent find and unexpected in terms of the quality and size of its rooms and décor. It’s clear that this hotel has been completely renovated to a very high standard. The rooms are spacious with marble floors, comfortable kingsize beds and mood lighting. The bathrooms are luxurious with large walk-in showers. Some rooms have balconies which overlook the picturesque town square and the top of the mountain in the distance.
The owners, brothers Fabio and Gianluca, went out of their way on so many occasions to assist us in our search for family history and we were very grateful for their efforts. Viewing old records in the local Ufficio Demografica was a special treat.
Dinners at the hotel restaurant were excellent, whether it was the local pasta or pizza or steak. They even arranged for us to visit a winery about 30 min drive from the town.
Over 3 days we visited many of the tiny villages which are dotted around this mountain. Everywhere we went the people were warm, welcoming and helpful. And at the end of each day we would return to the Palace – a comfortable and luxurious hotel in this lovely, hillside town. Many thanks to Fabio and Gianluca. Would highly recommend and would return again in a heartbeat!

My husband, mother, brother and sister-in-law and I stayed at the Palace Hotel for 9 nights throughout August and September 2023. This boutique hotel is family-owned and operated by Fabio and his brother, Jean-Luc. From the beginning, starting with the booking experience, Fabio displayed unprecedented levels of accommodation and treated my family as his own. Fabio helped us charter a boat and secure a better rate for us than we could alone. We hired them to pick us up from the Rome airport (1.5hr drive) to bring us to the hotel, and fit all our bags (11!) in his sprinter. During your stay, breakfast is included. We never had to see a menu because Jean-Luc would tell us the specials and also make us whatever we wanted. Fabio also offers day trips to the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, etc. which are fun, informative, and well-organized.
Upon entering the hotel, you will immediately notice the boutique, trendy vibe. The rooms are spacious, bright, larger than what you would expect in a European hotel, and immaculately clean. The hotel itself is set in the heart of Roccamonfina, within walking distance from the most amazing gelato shop I've ever been to (my husband and BIL went every day!). Roccamonfina is a quaint town, brimming with personality.
I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. The overall experience was life changing and I will definitely be returning. My husband and I are avid travellers, travelling many times a year, and this was the best European travel experience I've ever had.

We traveled with friends to Positano and after a wonderful stay there we went to Roccamonfina which was the birthplace of our friends grandmother. While we have vacationed in Italy numerous times we hadn’t been in Caserta and didn’t know what to expect. Roccamonfina itself is a small friendly village of about 3,000 people in the village and surrounding area. Very few tourists travel to the area. We were extremely pleased with every detail of the Roccamonfina Palace Hotel. It was built about 10 years ago. It is owned and run by two brothers who are from the town. The Jr. suite we stayed in was large and nicely furnished and had a large bath with a very large shower. The room and all else I observed in the hotel we’re excellently maintained, very clean and had very high end fixtures and furnishings. It really had the look of a place that belonged in the fashionable area of a big city. The hotel seemed a to be run primarily by Fabio and his brother appeared to be in charge of the restaurant. Each were very friendly and accommodating. In fact the day we checked in Fabio took us around the town and drove us to a high point overlooking the area and also to a nearby convent. He was eager to tell us about the area. He also took us the the nearby city hall to help my friend look for family records. The hotel restaurant was good and offered entrees typical to Caserta which consisted mainly pasta and meat. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful as well. In short our stay far exceeded our expectations and was excellent in every detail including price.
