First and foremost, I was quite reluctant to go to this place as I was seeing a lot a bad reviews but my wife said she kinda like the look and feel of this place and of course it's her birthday I decided to book a month earlier. Birthday Surprise Prep - it took a while for me to get to the right person. 3actually. Thank God I found the right person. Thanks a bunch to En Azit from Sales team who assisted me from day 1. He even replied me when I texted him at midnight. Very nice and helpful guy. Arranging from the deco, cakes, candle light dinner, flowers was nicely done. Birthday cake - not many choices. The catalogue shown was simple cakes. It's my special someone's birthday so I tried asking him if he can get other options. Believe or not he entertained my request and went looking for cheese cake.. I would say the cake was really really nice and the price was reasonable. Room deco - was done nicely even though it's not was as suggested by En Azit. I requested for different kinda look and it turns out to be the best! Candle light dinner - arranged big table for the whole family. Me and my wife with 3 kids. Greeted well by the restaurant staff with bouquet of flowers. The restaurant was just for us that night. The 5 course meal was surprisingly good the portion is big and the price is far cheaper then I expected. Staff - was polite and helpful Room - was nice and cozy with nice view (floor 3A comes with balcony) Overall it was a great experience. Will visit the place again soon for next birthday celebration. Thank you to all the staff of Avilion Cameron Highlands. Keep up the good work!

Although the hotel is relatively new it is not well maintained at all. The couch in the room was torn, the walls were all dirty, the bathroom was full of mold. The floors were dusty and there was hair everywhere. The reception staff were helpful and they let us check out late. They also prepared take away breakfast for us because we had to leave early before breakfast was served. However when we asked the housekeeping to bring us toothpaste at night they got it and told us not to ask for anything else because they wanna go home. I do not recommend this hotel. The rooms were not clean and our friends in other rooms had an even worse experience.

Booked two, two bedroom units. It is spacious tidy and comfortable. Hotel lobby located on the 3rd floor. Ample parking provided. Location was super, surrounding area full of restaurants, bar, convenience store etc. Prefer staying in Tanah Rata as traffic is less compared to Brinchang. Breafast buffet was limited expected though as room rate was cheap and comes with 4 breakfast. Paid 350 a nite. If ur travelling with family members this hotel is a good choice.

The best part of the hotel that it is centrally located in Tanah Rata, and within walking distance to a number of recommended restaurants and cafes. This was important as traffic around the area can be quite heavy, thus being able to move around without a car, was an. advantage. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread was simple but ok. The downsides were: internet connection was poor, It was non existent for the duration of our stay. This is a basic need for most travellers, and the hotel should take steps to upgrade connectivity. I also don't understand the need for a RM200 deposit, when there is no mini-bar and quite minimal amenities in the room. Overall, a clean comfortable hotel, which is well located.
