Excellent location as everything is in walking distance. The room was okay, everything felt damp but that’s probably just because the highlands are cold and wet. The staff here were friendly and when we left, we forgot a Fitbit in the room and they sent it to an address in America for us to get it back so can’t fault they helpfulness. I would stay here again if I was to return, good hostel.

The place was choseen couse was the cheapest available in the time i was there. The breakfast was okey and the location is very close to every place around. In the other hand, i dont recomend anybody to go there. I had the worst experience in life after travelling a lot in asia, i found the ruddes reception staff ever. She was nice when everything was okey but when i told her i been stolen in the place she just said that it was my fault not trying to solve the problem and being so arrogant. Words like "You have the problem you are foreigner, im malasyan so i know the police" , "you are poor and you want me to pay you a new shoes becouse yours were so old".... I was stolen my shoes (a original NB but i didnt care about that... i just ask for help becouse i wanted hikke and i didnt have other shoes on the side of a flipflops...). The owner by phone offer me to buy a shoes so i could continue with the plan, thanks to him... if was the decition of the girl..... The owner asked me if was okay with 100MYR and i bought the shoes (cheapest ones couse with the budget) and i brought the bill to certify i spent the money.... the bill was 97 something... she asked me for the 2.something change becouse she didnt have exact... WTF 2. something?? just umpolite and rude.... i dindt care.... but is just bad manners for that person. Ive never have a problem like that before, she even call me bloddy words.... and stuff... BE CAREFULL WITH THAT WOMAN IF YOU GO HERE!!

Hi just spent three nights here, had a double bed with share facilities. The guesthouse is clean / comfortable however the place is looking old and tried, could do with a little modernising brightening up. However that would put the price up so on balance you get very good accommodation for a very reasonable cost. Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgeable on what is available to do in the area. Tickets for tours and bus for onward travel are available through the guesthouse. The breakfast menu is not fancy and again at a very good price. The location is great, not far from the bus station approx 10 mins at the most and easy to access restaurants etc in the evening. There are approximately 14 treks / trails you can follow very easily through various parts of the rainforest. Please dress appropriately minimum jeans, top and a good pair of trainers coupled with a reasonable level of fitness, as some trails climb up by about 500 meters the views are breathtaking. Stay and enjoy. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again when I visit area for more treks.

I stayed here with a friend backpacking through Malaysia. The location of the place is very good, easy to access from the bus station. The beds are not comfortable, but for the price they were just fine. We paid a very fair price for a room with two single beds and it's own restroom, which was very clean. The place feels super plane and dry, but it has a nice yard where travelers can hang out. The lady at the reception was very kind and helped us with tips about hikes, and she also advised us and helped us book bus tickets to Penang. I say it's very much OK. Maybe if more travelers stay here they can be buy some nice decorations :)

We where here in country holidays so prices are little to much depending what we got withou breakfast(but its cheap to buy). Staff is ok..maybe little not organized...in morning there is nobody there, only kitchen staff. I didnt like that we could not go to my room in our shoes but ok, thats the way here😄 We had to ask to change our bed sheets because they had staines on it. 2. floor bad wifi(but ok they reminded us about that) in lobby should work better depending on users😄 But there is nice green terrase to relaxe in. They can plan a trip for you If they made guest house little more stylish😄 reduced price little bit and include maybe only classic breakfest(tee, coffee, juice, toast, jam and butter) this stay will be perfect(just a tip😄)
