Fantastic place for friends and family. Well maintained and generally attracts foreigners or back packers. Ideal location and nearby Tanah Rata. We had a short stay only but it was memorable. Sharing toilet was an issue but it was clean and manageable.

We stayed in August 2016 for 2 nights. The location is walking distance from the coach station, tour booking offices, restaurants, bars and market stalls. We were greeted by Gerard's son who was very friendly, gave us loads of advice on booking tours and what to do in the area. Although breakfast wasn't included, there was tea/ coffee and one...

We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. Such a quiet and lovely guesthouse! Staff was very friendly and helpful, we got lots of very detailed information about the hikes, the sights and the restaurants. There even is a little garden where you can sit outside in the green and recover from your hikes. Definitely recommended!

I stayed here for a week from the 21st to the 27th and could not had a better time if I tried. The guesthouse is on a hill next to the Heritage Hotel. If it's your first time in Cameron, you should take a taxi (next to the bus station) to it, otherwise you can enjoy the relative quiet and...

Following the commentaries on Trip Advisor, we stayed at Gerard's place. At the begining for 3 nights but finally only for one. The place is not very well situated, not far from the center but when it is raining and you have to go in the center to get a cab... Because it is raining a lot in the Cameron...

My partner and I stayed at Gerard's Place 12-14 August 2016 and after a lot of trouble locating the place (because it's very poorly signposted and there was no internet coverage in the whole town that weekend so googlemaps couldn't help us), it seemed homely, the bedroom was small but fine. However when we arrived Friday evening, we had to...

Great value for money, wonderful hosts, and great guided jungle tours (ask for Jason as the guide). Clean rooms. We had a shared bathroom, there is only one toilet and shower per 3 rooms so it might be queuing in the morning. Location: 15min walk from the main bus station. Attention point for Cameron Highlands in general: don't do laundry...

Just stay here. Stay here for longer than you expect. Jay, Joshua and Gerard are rockstars. They immediately make you feel at home. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, the common area is relaxing and the outside seating is perfect for breakfast. We started with three days and extended to six. Would go back in a heart beat. Jay will show...

Relax , Comfortable & Cloudy Guesthouse. This is the best choice to stay at Gerard's Place. You can help yourself with prepare coffee or tea with toast and jam in the morning. Meanwhile you can enjoy the simple breakfast in the balcony with the natural view. =)
