We stayed here for three nights. We had a double room with a private bathroom. It was very clean. The bed was ok. We've had better and we've had worse. The staff was very helpful. It is a budget guesthouse so your expectations need to be in that realm but for a budget place it had nice decor, a comfy... More

Stayed here for 1 night. Was surprise as the place is near to town- within walking distance, price very reasonable, clean and quiet although it was almost full, the atmosphere was very peaceful. If you are on budget and looking for a nice cheap clean place to stay, this is the place. No air com but you don't need one... More

Stayed here 18th-20th Apr with wifef and 3 young kids ( 11,8 and 4 years old). Was not expecting much thinking this is a backpacker lodge and not suitable for family. However, it turn out to be a very pleasant surprise and glad that we stayed here. The room was large enough for our family and bathroom was clean with... More

The guesthouse has a few different communal areas to hang out. Its a short walk from town so its really quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our doubleroom (nr. 12) was clean - the hot water didnt really work and the matress definetly has to be changed. You get free tea and coffee all day long and the... More

Clean, very friendly and helpful staff, and the common areas are great for meeting new people. It's also off the main road so it's quiet. Had a fantastic time there. The only downside is there is only 1 toilet/shower so it can get pretty busy at times.

Dont have great expectations and you will be okay with this place. Has the basic amenities. We were initially surprised as the rooms did not have air conditioner or fan. But I need to accept that we did not feel the need for either of them at night. It was pretty cool. Rooms were okay and clean. You get free... More

We stayed here two nights. Place is just outside of the town centre (walking distance). Rooms were clean well kept. Very basic set up, but overall facilities were in good order. Get free tea and coffee. They partner with a local tour company (eco tours) which provide knowledgable guides. They also help book any buses or additional transportation. Staff is... More

We have had a bad experience with the Eight Mentigi Guesthouse. The "Manager" was a very uncomfortable man who simply checked us out two hours earlier and pretended that he told us so. An hour before checkout then I couldn't find any toilet paper anymore and the cleaning staff was already in the room. Further free coffee and tea isn't... More

We had wanted to stay in Father's Guesthouse which was right next door but stayed here as Father's Guesthouse was fully booked. There was a guy at the bus station we arrived into that worked for Eight Mentigi, and he took us to the area for free knowing we were looking to stay in the hostel next door. However when... More
