This place is the epitome of what happens when you can't be bothered to look after your business. Very tired and unclean small rooms. Basic is an understatement. People are friendly but just doesn't make up for the general feeling of grime. Cheap at 40 RM but it may as have been 5 and it still wouldn't have been worth...

They say new owners and it's "clean" now. Don't buy it. It's a lie. By far the worst budget accommodation we've been to in Malaysia. We stayed in a double room, which was about as big as a shoe box and you can literally hear every word and sound coming from the room next door. We could even see trough...

Unfortunately I booked two nights here. Firstly the dorm rooms have no plugs so you have to charge electricals outside. It also gets cold at night so this is more then inconvenient. The blankets are made from the worlds most itchiest material, so if you don't have a sleeping bag liner you are in for one itchy night. There was...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel looks fairly run down from the outside and doesn't get too much better looking when you get inside. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and lovely to deal with. There is a musty smell in the corridors but the rooms don't smell as bad. The staff seem to leave...

Wanted to stay at the lodge but it was full so we had to stay here. The building was old and dirty. squat toilets only. Rooms were so cold I found it hard to sleep. Also, my mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. The staff working there were really unfriendly except for the middle-aged man. room was cheap (35RM for two doubles...

We were taken to Kang Hotel after we had walked into Kang Lodge (seemingly a related business up the hill), which was full. The hotel location is bang in the middle of town centre. The manager was exceptionally pleasant to deal with. We paid for a double room with ensuite. Room was basic and there were some bits that were...

Rooms were cheap but it's definitely not good value for money. Rooms are dirty, smell really bad and our beds were full of bed bugs. Fortunately, they gave us our money back the next day but did not bother to apologise even if we were full of bites...

Too many bad things. The carpet in the room had water spots. The room felt all the time kind of wet and moist. The worst thing was that during my absence someone went into my room and stole my tablet (left it there to charge it). Management told me that that never happened before and that it wasn't anyone from...
