G8ven the recent mixed reviews, our expectations were modest. But our room was well maintained, clean and very spacious. Good shower and bed. Friendly service from front desk. Don't have 200 characters to contribute.
Just finished a 3 days 2 nights yoga retreat at Strawberry park Resort..How was the experience.?This is the second time I am organising such a retreat at this resort and the 2nd time is more satisfying. Why? Planning of this retreat took almost a month and a half.Coordination with Puteri Sofia at the KL office was easy .She took note of my requirements and coordinated very well with the staff at the resort.Terms of payment was spelt out clearly . When the time came for the actual event everything went smoothly and even exceeded my expectations. The welcoming high tea reception was very well done.Tea,coffee, scones and cakes were served as requested.and everyone enjoyed the food and the outdoor atmosphere. The room accomodation was as expected. The room is spacious and looks very inviting. The setup of the studio room is very unique and very different from most hotel rooms. The refresh room is simple yet exudes class.I love the refresh room. The balcony is also very inviting to have a sit and have a cup of tea or coffee complimentary of the resort. The meals over the 3 days were suprisingly good. The chinese style dinner at the Lantern was thoroughly enjoyed by all.Kudos to chef Tai.Set lunch was good and chef Wan was full of surprises dishing out different desserts to our surprise.Breakfast was buffet and the spread was adequate to satisfy most pallets. We utilised the Rosalyn hall for our indoor activities and the facilities were more then adequate for our needs. For outdoor activities we utilised the Deck which is a outdoor wooden platform. The sunrise was amazing and we had a very good yoga session basking in the rays of the rising sun. We did have a outdoor session at a forest reserve very near to the resort reachable by a short drive. The sungai Pau forest reserve was full of pine trees and we had a yoga session there too breathing in all the fresh pine air. All in all the group of 22 pax enjoyed ourselves immensely and left smiling to return in the future for another adventure in the sky. Special mention for Miss Mira who coordinated our activities during our stay there. She did a fantastic job. Mr Shankar did a excellent job waiting on us during lunch and dinner.Ever willing to satisfy all requests from the diners. Puan Wati was ever so chatty and took the trouble to talk to us as she wait on us during lunch and dinner.Made us feel welcomed. Our yoga retreat wasa success .I must mention that the staff at this resort is very helpful and no request is ever too much.Just need to ask politely.…
Decided to visit this resort after 2+ decades and didn’t expect it is well maintained and no sign of aged building or rooms. We booked Freesno and Shasta family suites, both were very cleaned, no old roomy smell. The rooms were great fit for our extended families from toddlers, adults to elderly folks. Even without lifts, it was not ‘high’/difficult for my mum weak knee caps. The staff were very friendly. There was a downpour when we checked-in, hotel manager John Yeo was so quick in action to gather the buggies and his colleagues to drive us to our rooms. The Chinese restaurant served good hotpot, we decided to dine-in on the last night due to the rain, it saved us time and traffic jam. Worth It, can simply just to chill out in the hotel !!!
Thank you to Strawberry Park Resort especially to FOM (Mr Khairi) and staff for an unforgettable experience. very calm atmosphere, very beautiful scenery. unforgettable memories. a very comfortable room with a classic concept. all the staff always with a smile. a delicious and simple breakfast is quite beautiful accompanied by cool weather and beautiful scenery.Very cosy & peacefull also Good service. Great stay. Recommended to stay vacation with friends also family!
We really enjoyed our time at this resort. The room was exactly as shown in the advertising photos (a rare and noteworthy event) and the whole experience lived up to our expectations. Our room was clean, well presented and perfectly met our requirements. A special 'shout out' should go to the staff, who were friendly and accomodating. The manager even gave us a personal tour of the place. He was obviously proud to have his name associated with this firm. The views from different vantage points around the resort were outstanding. Most especially loved the outlook from the veranda of the bar- not a bad place to enjoy a quiet beer. Strawberry Park Resort would be the ideal place to take that special someone.
Wonderful quite friendly hotel and very helpful staffing, breakfast very fantastic, very wonderful Chinese food and their garden very beautiful. Front Office staff have good job and also restaurant. Great job
Certainly wouldn’t recommend. Shame as you can see they are struggling but don’t seem to want to do anything about it. Very tired and somewhat too remote. Need to get a taxi to go anywhere as too far to walk. First thing I would do is put a shuttle bus on. They have 4 just sitting to go to town. But need to order a taxi. Somewhat brutal but unless they get someone in with some bright ideas I can see this lovely place being shut down. No thought by reception that could speak English well. We are retired and put us on 4th floor with no lifts. Exhausting us each time we wanted to go out yet there was so many empty rooms. Come on guys get your act together and fix the place. As it is, I would certainly not recommend to anyone
We are a family of 6 and stayed there for 8 nights. The hotel was wonderful and nicely located sufficiently far from the town (Brinchang), so it was nice and quiet, but it’s sufficiently close so a short taxi ride brings us to the town. We particularly enjoyed the fun activities organized by the hotel, including the nature walk, tennis and kite flying. Food at the hotel restaurant was great. Manager John and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
We are family of 5 with 3 kids below 10. Booked a Fresno room for 3 nights during Christmas period. This is my 4th time staying here. Always like the quiet and serene environment. Garden well taken care of. We also joined the Xmas buffet which the Manager John and Team put in alot of effort. Food quality and taste has room for improvement. Overall, great stay. And will return soon.
Was not up to the standards and no room service and terrible breakfast. I wouldn’t recommend it for a family. Although, the interior is an old fashioned rooms an, You need to take the door access Keys and move your luggage yourself to check-in.
