I did not have high expectations when we reserved (2 couples) the first week of September at the end of a Québec vacation. I was expecting a tourist trap type resort that wanted to cash in on the first nation people (Huron-Wendake). What a wonderful surprise to arrive and find that 90% of the staff are first nation people and...

Just recently returned from a trip to Wendake. We stayed at the hotel- musee premieres nations. It was excellent! Our room had a king bed and was large enough to dance in! Everything was clean and hotel staff was extremely friendly. We also opted for the breakfast package which featured an array of foods. We would definitely stay there again.

Just outside Québec City. I was there last August. You can catch the shuttle from the city, or (on your way in or on your way out of the city) do not hesitate to visit by car the small but gorgeous museum with lots of interesting explanations about the Prime Nations Windake People. All in all, don not miss to...

Stayed here with family while visiting Quebec City on vacation. The hotel feels like a lodge. Has been decorated to the First Nations / Huron / Wendake theme....a fireplace in the lobby, animal skiins (wolves, bears, raccoons, beavers) everywhere, including in the hotel rooms. Seems that the hotel has only been constructed of natural materials, i.e. iron and wood. Staff...

This hotel offers an unique experience for you to understand the first nation more. The courteous and professional guide explains clearly on the history of the first nation. By visiting the long house will know more about how the first nation settled on the land and their lives at that time. All the staff here are very helpful. The +20km...

This place is great! There is an old and authentic big indian house to visit, a souvenir shop, a museum about the indians, There is a lot of rustic decoration inside the hotel and in the rooms as well (items made out of ivory, fur and bones of the local forest animals like mooses, bears, foxes, wolves, ...). There is...

This beautiful hotel was built in 2008. The hotel and guest rooms were beautifully decorated with First Nations decor. The rooms were spacious and facing the river and trees. Entertainment was great for families with small children. Museum is a must see. Spa was great. I had a hot stone massage outside by the river and it was an amazing...

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel where a wonderful couple remarried. The food, the decor and the dinner entertainment made the stay great even though the weather was lousy. Ideal for joggers and cyclist. A trail borders the hotel. Also, a well equipped park is close by for restless children.

Once we found the hotel we loved it! (Turned out we needed the actual coordinates for GPS to get us there…). Each part of this facility is outstanding on its own: hotel, museum, restaurant. The hotel is clean and stylish with a modern design decorated with First Nations artifacts and furs. Our room was large with large sliding glass doors...

I have often wanted to stay here but found it was a bit out of the way, which I realized was not true because with the extension of the Robert-Bourassa boulevard, getting around becomes a lot easier, whether it be to the malls, in and out of town, etc. Though I had been here for meetings before, this was the...
