In a small village on the ‘opal coast’ with huge chalk cliffs to north and south, this seaside hotel welcomed us with a quiet and courteous reception. We had rooms overlooking the shortest river in France – just over a kilometre in length – which bustles alongside the hotel and just three hundred metres later runs onto the beach and...

The village is very picturesque and well worth a trip. The hotel / tea room is situated on the official path that takes you around the village, so you can't miss it. You see it from the path, yet have to walk down an alley to access it from the front. Odd, and they miss out on a lot of...

Would not call this a Hotel , it's more a bed and breakfast. Situated in the center of this lovely village at the Normandy Coast. We stayed 2 nights during the "Rose Festival" in June. The weather was perfect, the village looked at its best. B&B is run by two sisters ( i believe) and a small staff to assist...

This isa charming little hotel where we stopped by for tea and a snack. We sat next to the smallest river in France which rippled by - very soothing on a hot day. There were a myriad brands of tea on the menu but we settled for hot chocolate and pancakes. The drink was delicious but the crepe were poor,...

We stopped here for tea and a pancake: but were very disappointed. The only good thing was the location, very romantic and cosy next to the water. The pancakes were cold, like really cold - not even heated and a bit cold, but just straight-from-the-fridge-cold, and the tea was nothing special, but we paid 7 euros for it! They also...

What a pity. Just one night. The village is realy beautiful and the hotel is great. We had a 3 person suite with living(sofa bed), kitchen, separted bathroom and toilet and a bedroom with terrace which was next to the creek. In front of the room a small terrace for lunch. Enough public parkingspace. We come again. be aware of...

We had a room with a sense of humour. Bathroom, TV, kitchenette, sitting area downstairs (all more than adequate) then up the steep stairs to bed in the eaves. I could have done with a slightly bigger bed but it wouldn't have fitted in. This is not a room for the unfit or faint-hearted but it had buckets of charm...

We stayed two nights in a family apartment (Trenet). The hotel is a 17th century building with lots of charm in one of the nicest villages I have stayed in in france. The room itself was spacious, beds adequately comfortable, with a good sized sitting room and a kitchenette - quite ok for cooking a snack. The furnishings etc had...

We stayed one night, 2 adults and 2 children in a studio "lorraine". The welcome was perfect, the hostess was very pleasant, our studio was wonderful, comfy bed, comfy sofa bed and a little kitchenette which is perfect for kids. Veules les roses is one of the most beautiful villages in France. This accommodation was cheaper than the local campsite...
