Our stay at hula hula was absolutely spot on! I especially loved the breakfast, the service was very quick when we needed some little things changing! The pool area, restaurant, our rooms and overall hotel was very clean! The staff were very friendly and always smiling! I would come back to hula hula in a heartbeat! Thank you for an incredible stay.
Neat and Clean...Very helpful and pleasant staff... Free Wi-Fi is available and speed is decent. If you are a vegetarian there is limited option in Buffet Breakfast. Beach and Market is walking distance from the resort. They had TV is room, but did not work. On enquiry it was informed they still have not started services in this regards and by another week it should be operational.
After 4 long years of the Covid nonsense, we finally made it back to Krabi - and the Hula Hula has retained its’ great atmosphere and value. It’s a three long block walk to the main beach road, but still well placed for the extra quiet that you get up in the hill. Rooms are clean, staff are excellent, pool/bar are quiet and spacious, breakfast choose and quality are amazing - just a nice place to stay! To balance - it’s too bad the great hotel restaurant is now limited to the lunch only (last time we had dinners there too), but the reduced tourist traffic and tons of competitors probably makes it uneconomical. Only one English tv station (Euronews) - which is not a big deal at all, but having Fox International, CNN, or a couple of Australian channels would be nice for evening background noise. Overall, I can’t imagine a better place in Ao Nang. If you don’t need to be on the beach or “in the action”, stay at the Hula!…
Amazing staff, loved our pool access room. Very spacy and clean. We had a fantastic experience! Would recommend for anybody who's looking for a relaxing holiday resort for family or couple. Breakfast was limited but still very good. 10/10 😄
We stayed at Hula Hula for 2 nights. The Pool View room was better than expectation & quite spacious. There was a limited buffet breakfast the next day while the day after breakfast was ala carte due to 10 guests in the entire hotel! This was a bit disappointing. Staff though limited are nice. The biggest negative of Hula Hula was that they don’t offer lunch/dinner services! During checkin there was nobody to carry our bags to the room. The shower intermittently threw out cold water instead of hot! This is a strictly average hotel.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at...room stank of damp to the point that downstairs was unusable and even though we had booked the highest price suite they did absolutely nothing to help and just stuck to simply saying “no refund” and the manager of this hotel started threatening to call the police on me for arguing with her about the room in front of some statue on their counter, which was apprently disrespectful. Also the shower was constantly spraying water all night for the first night until they turned the water off completely in the room...but still no refund
This resort we expected more from. Pool for us was always shaded and never got direct sun. It’s a short walk from the main strip but doing that short walk 2-4 times a day does take it out of you. Gym on site was nice bonus not a lot of equipment but did the job same for breakfast fresh egg and pancake stations. Staff super friendly and nice. Some issues with water replacement a few days during room cleaning and we lost power once. I would stay again but not for the price.
Stayed here for 10 days which is about 3 days too long in Krabi. This hotel is a little worn out on the inside like many seem to be around here but the pool area is stunning and very clean and a haven from the people pollution and noise of Ao Nang. Try to get a room pool side as the street can get quite noisy with traffic. Buffet breakfast is a nice perk but nothing to write home about. There are some good restaurants right on this street so you don’t have to go to Ao Nang beach area to eat although the sunsets are stunning there. The staff here are all very kind and helpful and there is a shuttle that runs to and from the beach several times a day. It’s good value for your money.
We booked Hula-Hula under impression of its beautiful pictures promising large relaxing pool and cozy rooms. The hotel has nothing of its pictures. The pool is nice, but not so big, there are only 20 sunbeds around, and its impossible to find a free one. Children pool is a dirty puddle that nobody use. We booked a room with "garden" view, but in reality this type of room looks on the noisy road, and under the sun the balkony becomes so hot that you can't touch the chair. The sheets were dirty when we arrived, we asked to change. The room was smelly and old. We asked to change the room, but not only the hotel didn't satisfy our request, the Manager's attitude was extremely arrogant and disrespectful. They never ever apologized for the room that wasn't corresponding to the booking description, nor provided a proper cleaning. The breakfast is poor. Weak wi-fi signal. In short, everything is bad, except poor beautiful fishes that live in a dirty pond.…
All I can say are positive things about this hotel, my wife stayed for 9 nights and i joined her for a week after her first 2 nights. From the moment I arrived the welcome I recieved from the staff was the warmest I've ever experienced in any hotel or friend/relatives house. They are lovely people and work tirelessly to satisfy all of your needs. We booked quite a few trips through the hotel and although we may have got it cheaper elsewhere they did seem to be better quality trips. The ambience in the hotel is perfect and just what I was hoping for. Its quiet, comfy and relaxing. The town is close by but we used the tuktuks and the hotel make sure of the price before getting in them. They really do look after you. I will be back with my family. Thank you for a great holiday.…
