My partner Trish and I stayed here in a Beachfront Pool Villa (A6) for 5 nights in late October 2022. We booked this resort several months in advance and were somewhat concerned about the reviews, but we didn't need to be. Firstly, we were collected at the airport by a friendly team member. Our room was very spacious and clean, great bed and bathroom. Pool was large and you can open the bamboo doors for a view or close them for privacy. We especially enjoyed the authentic Thai food in the evenings near the beach at the Boat restaurant. The staff were super friendly there. Morning breakfast buffets were fine. The location of this resort is perfect and its a bonus to have a private beach in front of our room. Overall, the team members were friendly and helpful. Perhaps some more English lessons will help the reception staff. We noted that a lot of work was being carried out at the resort including on the pool villa decks, gardens and more. We enjoyed our stay and are keen to return soon.

My partner and I stayed here for 6 days in November 2022. I read the recent reviews and was very concerned about what we would find but everything was excellent. Our room was beautiful with lots of finished wood detailing, the water in the shower was very hot and the housekeeper kept the room spotless. We swam in the pool once. It was clean and the perfect temperature. We kayaked once and the kayak was in great shape. A storm came up while we were out and the staff kept a watchful eye on us while we made our way back to shore. We particularly enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet. It had the largest selection of items I've ever seen at a breakfast buffet. Some of the food could have been hotter but the freshly made omelettes were perfect. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I also saw a lot of work being done on the resort including pressure washing which will give the resort a nice fresh look in no time. Not sure why the negative reviews lately but my partner and I have nothing but positive things to say. We enjoyed our stay and would happily visit again.

When I first visited Krabi on Dec of 2021 (see my reviews) I was amazed by how beautiful and peaceful this place is with abundant Limestone Cliff scatters all over the town and very tranquil and laid back so I said to myself that next time when I’m back I will definitely bring my family with me. 9 months later on late Sept of 2021 , I did bring along my parents, sister and nephew to celebrate my Parents’ bday. and my nephew’s first time to travel I looked for several hotels in Ao Nang where we previously stayed but most are a bit far from the beach. There are very few hotels in Ao Nang which is quite close to the beach except this one - Krabi Resort, the only resort in this famous beach town which has a direct beach access and gladly we booked it!!! We were looking for a place in Ao Nang because I’m familiar with it and it has all the best places to dine and shop. It is also close to the airport and has a long stretch of fine sand beach, although the waters are not crystal blue clear because it is always a bit wavy it is still clean and can swim. So we did book Krabi resort for 2 Garden view rooms and upon check-in on their very huge, spacious and classic open air lobby we were given a surprise by the front desk staff that we were upgrade to Pool View villa much to our delights. The front desk is very accommodating, helpful and speaks Good English. Our check-in was smooth and easy and we didn't have to pay a deposit unlike other hotels. I loved the classic, vintage vibes of the lobby retaining the authentic Thai interior designs and furniture. There are so many places to sit and wait and enough to fill a lot of guests. They have a high wooden ceiling with fans and a painting of King Bhumibol above the front desk. A classic yellow and blue large wall painting on the front desk gives you that Thai feel. There is a central square seating area with a large vase at the center. Another lounge area is located at the right side of the lobby. Tour desk is located on the left side if you would like to book some tours. After check-in we were transported by their adorable Golf cart on the way to our pool villa. At this point, we are not sure yet where to go and how far. The drive was fast and lovely - immediately we were surrounded by nature all over the hotel - Coconut and Palm trees, Orchids and flowers of many kinds, Bees, Butterflies, Dragonflies and Birds of many species, and plentiful plants only found in Thailand. It was off season and still during the pandemic era so the hotel is not fully booked which means we have a lot of space and time just for ourselves. We arrived at our Pool villas which are bottom rooms of 2 floor villas adjacent to each other. Glad its not fully booked so we didn't have to use stairs if we were assigned on the upper rooms. There is a lovely mini-garden in front of our village with a swing. First impressions were immediately impressive for us - we loved the front patio were we can leave our footwear and umbrellas. The room is super massive and very clean - it can literally can fit a family of four people. The flooring is made of authentic polished brown mahogany which you could not find anymore in new modern hotels. As we enter the main door, we could see the huge wardrobe and compartments right to our right side made of course again of authentic wood. Here we have the big spacious wardrobe with tons of cabinet and compartments and a huge body mirror which you could close, we even have our own laundry basket made of authentic bamboo, they have safety lock inside the wardrobe which is a plus for me as well as disposable bedroom slippers and umbrella which is quite exceptional indeed. Blue swimming towels are also placed at the wardrobe and replaced daily for swimming purposes. To our left is the humongous, spacious and super clean toilet and bath. Shower area is on the right side with rainfall shower option, sink has a huge bathroom mirror, toilet has bidet which is a plus, the bath tub is super enormous with an option to open the windows to get some fresh air outside. We have used the tub many times and especially loved by my nephew. They provide complimentary shampoo and shower gel, soap and toilet ammenities. They have light brown toilet body and hand towels provided which were very clean and soft. Water pressure is strong and heating is easy to control and manage. As you go out of the toilet there is an door just after the wardrobe which connects our rooms together and we kept it open so we don’t need to go outside whenever we need to see our parents on the adjacent room. Right across this door is the mini living room with a soft grey cushioned sofa with grey and orange pillows and an abstract painting right above it which is quite lovely. And in front of the sofa is the humongous King Bed which is very clean, big, soft, smooth and comfortable with a clean, smooth and soft pillows and clean, smooth, soft, thick blankets enough to warm us up from the cold airconditioning. By the way we never really changed the aircon temperature because it was just the perfect coolness when we entered the room. I find the Yellow Green shiny wallpaper right on the bedside and the Green/Orange bed scarf which gives an added touch to the overall look. The extra bed for single person is placed on the left side near the study table. There are mini side table on each side with 2 classic Thai lampshades. On the right mini table is where the desk phone and room lighting controls located. There is a reading lamp attached to either side of the wall. There are no power outlets near the bed so you would have to charge on the study table and mini-bar cabinet which is right in front of the bed. This is one of the biggest mini bar cabinets I’ve seen ever with many compartments. The ref is place inside and the complimentary huge bottled waters were replenished daily. Next to the mini-bar is the Wall Flat screen TV which has tons of both Local and Cable channels and easy to operate. Another long under table is placed here which serves as another compartment. And next to the under table, on the far side of the room, there is a big study table right beside a huge top-down window with a view of the Garden and Pool outside. The window has a lovely blackout curtain which gives privacy especially from outside. I’ve placed my things and use the brown, big, wooden study table on many occasions. Finally, there is a door beside the table which gives you direct access to the Garden and Pool outside our villa onm the way to the restaurant and the beach. The other room of my parents don’t have this but its a plus for us so we don’t need to go round about when going to the pool or entering the room. But wait there’s more, there is a mini patio and lounge area right after the door facing the pool which gives you and serves a great view, relaxing place where you could sleep, read, chill, drinks and just lounge. It has a grey cushioned sofa similar to the one inside, a mini coffee table, and a lounge chair. This area can also serve as place where you could hang your wet clothes after a good swim. From the patio we have a direct access to their 2 ginormous heated pools - one for the kids equipped with slides and one for the adults where there is a pool bar and jacuzzi area. The pool has tons of lounge chairs to place our things, to chill and sun bathe. There are no life guards on duty and the pool bar is closed but you could order drinks from the phone or bring with you. All over the pool there are tons of villas and we could see the forests and hills of Krabi surrounding us. As we walk our way to the pool we were all amazed by the landscaping they did all over the resort especially the gardens. They made us feel like were in the middle of the forest yet we have the convenience of comfort stay and relaxation. There are mini streams and ponds are all over the place in fact just in front of our patio with abundant fishes like Kois and different kinds of river fishes. I could see frogs, turtles, dragonflies all over the place. We tried the pool almost daily in our 3 nights stay especially right after our swim in the sea. From the pool, we made our way to the restaurant called aptly The Boat which is near the beach area but we have to pass to the main road adjacent to the lobby which is another route and shorter. We passed by a mini pond with beautiful fountains, private villas, creative landscaping with cute monuments like Sea creatures and Old fisherman. And finally you will see the beach as you walk to the boat restaurant and to the right of the dining place are the more expensive Beach front villas. I loved the Red brick gates and stairs that lead to the beach which feels a classic Thai vibes. The Boat restaurant on the left side is for me the best other than our rooms Krabi resort could offer. It has the best open air dining which an impeccable and picturesque view of the very long Ao Nang beach. The view itself is already the winner much more with their yummy and delicious food and drinks on offer. We have dined and drank here 3x in our stay and we enjoyed it. I will have a separate review for the Boat restaurant watch out for it. As mentioned, you will have a direct access to Ao Nang Beach with a panoramic and unperturbed view of Krabi, Ao Nang and its surrounding islands and limestone cliffs on both sides. I could see some rock cliffs on the right side as well and here I played and swam with my nephew and took memorable and lovely photos and videos together. We swam on our stay at the beach and we didn’t mind the waves which may sometimes be strong because we. have the privacy and the best moments of our lives here at a very affordable price of just 100++ SGD per night because we got promo discount during off season via Agoda. Apart from the tour, the hotel also offers airport transfer and massage services which you must book in advance. At just 300 Bath, the massage services will be at your rooms, per hour and it was very affordable and so much worth it. We have Breakfast buffet included in our stays and it was held to their open air dining hall adjacent to the Boat restaurant. They have both Thai and Western dishes served on the menu as well as free Egg station where you could order to cook like Omelettes. We loved their Thai porridge, Omelettes, Thai dishes, Pastries, Fruits and Juices and the Coffee is divine. We enjoyed and loved their breakfast but maybe as a suggestion they could have an option to dine outside near the beach in the future. We didn't try the gym and walk around the whole resort but we would love to try them when we come back again. Upon checkout, we requested for pick-up via the Golf cart and just like check-in it was also a breeze even settling our dine in bills. And they you go, after a very long but Superb review I still have lots of words to offer which I would just summarize in one statement - Krabi resort is truly an authentic, beach front, Krabi resort good for families like us where you could have fun, relaxation, create memories, eat delicious food/drinks, swim and enjoy the pool and beach, enjoy the view of the endless beach and its lovely, romantic Sunset and most of all complete privacy which is what all we need. I couldn’t wait to come back here again whether alone or with my family/friends/partner because Krabi resort is indeed qjuite Exceptional, Impressive and Superb which will make us come back again!!!! :=)

Please avoid this hotel we arrived here on September 2022 and had to move. We were shown three rooms all shocking filthy. The whole resort is unkempt and overgrown with weeds. The paths have moss and algae on them and need power washed. The reception staff are rude and unhelpful. There is no management in this resort. All the staff just hang around and do not do any work. There is no staff at the pool the pool beds are needing power washed. There was rat poison next to the pool and there were feces in the shrubs. Please contact me I can let you know more. We were there for 4 hours then we had to move resort. We moved to Ao Nang Villa Resort at eight o'clock in the evening. It's spotless and staff are very keen to be helpful. The Krabi Resort will probably be having a name change shortly. I hope it gets better staff. The resort will need considerable money spent to renovate.

We two couples checked into Krabi Resorts on 27/8/22 right after being picked up from Phuket airport. A very beautiful resorts. We were alloted room number 216 and 217 just facing the swimming pool on the first floor. A very well kept lawns and walk aways. They have two swimming pools and a private beach. Rooms very spacious, well maintained and breakfast very tasty. They are a bit stingy with providing drinking water, tea bags and milk packets.

I stayed at the Pool Villa which was amazing ! it is really huge, everything is huge. The bath room could be bigger than a standard hotel room. There is a living room, and outside is the private swimming pool. Very nicely decorated. The hotel is quite huge in area, but there seem to be some renovation going on at the regular rooms building. Seem like only one restaurant is operating and it is only serves breakfast, there doesnt seem to be any option for lunch or dinner. Location wise is quite nice, Ao Nang Beach is just right outside !

Room was a good size and had a pool. Location was good. Hence not 1 star. Whole place needs a massive facelift. Shower temperature never hot. Worst breakfast we’ve ever experienced in our life!! Honestly DISGUSTING. Wood around the pool all wilted. 3 massive cockroaches and rat droppings in our room. Holes all over the mosquito net. Guy at the desk tried to charge us for an extra for a bed that we had already paid for. Good job husband kept all email correspondence. Couldn’t wait to leave.
