What are you looking for in your accommodation? For us, we like to do some resort stays but we also like a more authentic experience. If you are like us then Baan Habeebee resort is the perfect spot in Krabi. A short tuk-tuk from the main beach of Aonang (150-200tbt depending on how many of you) it is the perfect oasis away from the hustle and bustle of this busy seaside town. We ventured out each morning to sight see or check out the 'town' and would head home to relax by our pool in the afternoon, tucked away in the beautiful gardens of Baan Habeebee. The staff were exceptional, Asma, Road and the whole team went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, provided great recommendations and were invaluable for booking local tours. We stayed in the Villa (2 adults & 3 teenage boys) so had the added bonus of even more privacy, tucked away at the back of the property. The pool and villa were extremely well maintained during our stay. There is an awesome local market just a couple of minutes walk on a Wednesday night (food and clothes etc - less touristy than the market at the Beach) and some great local restaurants nearby, special shout out to Medina (great food and very clean - popular with locals) just a minute walk down the road. If you want a true authentic Thai experience then I can't recommend this property enough. Yes, you can hear the Mosque throughout the day but I found that quite soothing and it added to our experience. We will look forward to a return visit to this little gem.…
Baan Habeebee is a perfect little boutique hotel, wrapped a wild green garden and colorful fish ponds. The hotel is magical and carefully maintained, tastefully decorated, wonderful service, huge and clean room. Thanks to the hotel staff and Asma in particular for the perfect experience!
We loved this place. The team are so welcoming and friendly. There are just a few ‘bungalows’ in a relaxing environment. Comfortable bed with mosquito net and we looked forward to seeing the towel art every day! We slept really well here. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a different surprise each day and served on the balcony at a time of our choosing. I would recommend arranging trips through the team as they get amazing discounts. There are regular shuttles to take you to the main town/beach but also tuk tuks very easy and 100-150 Baht. We would love to return here.
We booked 4 nights but after one night we checked out. The resort is very near The Mosque. It is not mentioned! If you are an early riser than you may like it. But we are not! The mosque start at 05.30 and at 06.00 hrs the roosters started. Not a good start for our holiday!
A beautiful little resort with only 6 bungalows in beautiful wooden architecture. Very tranquil in a jungle garden. The girls working there are wonderfully sweet and helpful. There is no restaurant or bar (Muslim) but you can order food and bring with you alcoholic drinks if you want. A Seven Eleven is just up on the road, but we was surprised to learn that we could only by beer after 5 o’clock. But not the rules down by the beach. Just 5 minutes away with a tuk-tuk or a brisk walk. Breakfast is served at your own lovely porch, you can choose from many things. Soft nice beds and a air condition of very good quality! You can get exactly what temperature you want and with our blowing away or terrible noise. Our bathroom had both a bathtub and a ‘rain’ shower from the roof. I hade a bit of a problem to find a spot around the swimming pool to sunbathe due to the lush vegetation, but still I truly loved this place!…
Decided to stay 4 nights at the Resort rather than bustling Ao Nang Beach or Railay, and really happy I did. Pros: greeted warmly and efficiently by Fa, who also did a great job driving the Resort shuttle, and making me comfortable with good conversation and excellent service. Everyone on staff was well trained, efficient, friendly, and service oriented. That showed in the cleanliness of my room and throughout the entire property. Separate cabins insured quiet. Spacious King 4-poster bed with mosquito netting was oh so comfortable. Shower and tub area the size of a small SE Asian hotel room. Very homey feel. Breakfasts were amazing! Served on my patio each morning, I had to beg them to stop bringing me so much fresh fruit each day + full breakfast --which was beautifully plated and prepared. Complimentary shuttle makes getting to the beach simple. Surrounding town has some excellent little local restaurants, plus a beautiful mosque (especially at night!). Cons: none My Thai and Malay friends commented that BH was expensive, bit given the similarity in cost to average AO Beach strip hotels, level of service, Quiet eco vibe, and spaciousness / quality of my room, I thought it was a bargain. Seriously consider staying here wherever you might be traveling in the Krabe area. It's a terrific place with an outstanding staff! …
We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! The nature surrounding the hotel is beautiful and relaxing. The staff was amazing and catered to our every need, always with a genuine smile. They also offer hourly van rides down to Ao Nang. Would definitely recommend for couples!
Lovely little hotel. Slightly away from the tourist area but they run a shuttle bus and it takes five minutes to the town. That gap is worth it because you feel secluded in their wonderful garden resort. Nice pool, epic fresh breakfast, great room, very clean with fun towel animals each day.... Its great but that's without the team who are brilliant. Very accurate, friendly and informative! They really deserve a bonus... If the manager sees this! Keep your staff... They make your hotel stand out!
We stayed at this luxurious resort for 5 nights and it was the definition of an oasis. The whole thing is so thoughtful and well done, from arriving and being given welcome drinks down to the towel animals placed on our beds. The hotel provides clothes washing at a decent cost and organises days trips and fair prices, often lower than the prices offered in town. The breakfast is amazing! There is a massive amount of options to choose, including Thai food, toast, pastries and best of all, banana pancakes. The wonderful staff also bring it to your room along with Thai sticky sweets and other breakfast items. The pool is quite small but is very beautiful as it is only a small resort anyway. The staff are amazing and friendly and helpful, there's no task too big. The children asked if one of staff could show them how to make towel elephants and now they are masters! All of the staff speak good English and are so sweet. The shuttle from Baan Habeebee into Ao Nanag was great and the staff didn't mind dropping you off to somewhere near the stop. Overall this BTW if you order and food via room service, the portions and massive.…
