Great location right across from the beach. Average facilities and mould in the bathroom. Cable tv channels are all in Thai so don't count on watching BBC or Al Jazeera news or any Hollywood movies. Lady on check in.needs to remember she.is.in.the "land of smiles" as her face was almost on the ground....and I felt like she hated tourists. Had to leave a 1000 baht deposit for some reason...and was only provided with one key card which meant if I went outside the aircon and electricity was off for my partner in the room. More key cards would have been better. Mini bar is provided and very clearly marked so you can not replace them with drinks from 7/11 which seemed extreme.. Although the prices were reasonable. Our in room safe was not working and the signs in the room stating no responsibility for any loss made me hide any valuables as it seemed like they might get stolen if I left them out. Overall the location is the.main selling point. For the rest it's a bit expensive for what you get. A 2 star guest house trying to be a 3 star. But close to the beach just don't expect to watch tv.…
This the worse guest house i stayed ever, in the room have so many small animals,on the staircase have so many small frogs , we stay for 5 days , the 3rd day we stay the water heater doesn't work so we come down to receptionist ask them to fix it and she said ,she will send someone to fix it by 5.30 - 6 pm , but no one come to fix it , the next day we come down again to ask the same thing to fix the water heater and he said will send someone to fix it but no one come ,and the end we come to ask again ,this the lucky things for us to ask again,, she said that we have to check out by today .yep we stay in zabava guest hotel on 25th to 30th dec ,and we will move to another hotel on 30th dec . We will never come back to this guest and will never recommend . Better pay a little more money to get better hotel. …
The hotel was located among the street shops, and just 3mins walk to the beach. Simple breakfast, not much choices. Good choice for backpacker, and if you are not expecting much from a 2-star property.
The place is just 3 minutes walk to the beach because it’s located in front of the view there in ao nang, but for the tips, the balcony will not help you to have a good scenary because have one food store front of the balcony
Simple hotel right in second line of beach in Ao nang, correct room although not of luxury, with a / c, shower with hot water, television. the staff speaks little english. the area is perfect. Price paid: € 14. Perfect for a night. Bed quite comfortable.
You have to pay for deposit 1000bath per stay. Will return it to you if there is no breakage. Plus point: very spacious room. We stayed in quadruple room for 4. Its super huge and comfy. At first the room was too hot, mayb because it was closed for quite long. So the heat trapped there. But after 10min the air in the room begin to feel cold. We've send some complain about the hot room when entered. The best part is their respond rate are very fast. Overall of the review I would definitely stay at zabava again for my next trip. But for the minus point they don't have any iron facilities. And the check out time are quite strict. FTER 11am, half day price will be charged.
Good: Location, location, location! Half a minute walk to the beach, while also in the middle of the souvenir shopping and restaurant district of town. Although right in the middle, no noise at night, except the ping pong table from the hostel next door, but they stop at 10pm. For the rest, room very spacious with good furniture, great bed, cleaned daily with daily complimentary water. Balcony great for smokers, but no real view besided a massage parlor and the back of a restaurant. Bad: The towels I had in my bathroom on arrival were full of stains. As I only figured it out after 8pm (when reception closes) I decided to use my beach towel to dry myself instead. Next day I did not say anything, but towels were changed and only had very clean towels afterwards.
I had sewage coming in my drains, sewer flies everywhere, leaky pipes, water seeping through the floor. Smell made me gag. When I told the staff, all they did was open a window to air it out. I recommend finding somewhere different to stay.
At the end of a little way, this quiet hostel in really close from everything ! Bars, cafés, restaurants, tours and shops. Really nice and tidy dorms with confortable beds and clean linens. One bathroom per dormitory, air conditionner and fans ! Breakfast is simple but well prepared and it is basically just what you need to start a good day : coffee/tea, bread/bakeries, jams/honey, cereals, blablabla... Staff is very welcoming, helpful, smily... professional ! I would definitely come back and off course I really recommend this place ! Well done guys !
Right in the middle of everything. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean and spacious. The only negative was that reception is open until 6pm so better call and advise your arrival time. Staff is friendly and welcoming
