The good things are the staff very friendly and helpful, the rooms are quite spacious and tidy. The bad the rooms are quite tired and ours needed updating there is a large shelf like boarder around the bed which makes it a big struggle to get in and out. There are no English channels on the tv although I was told there was but I didn’t find any. We had a little visitor in the bathroom of the cockroach variety lol scared the wife to death . There’s no lift and it’s 3 floors so if you don’t like stairs it will be a issue Overall budget tidy hotel with friendly staff pleasant atmosphere with a couple of issues that makes it a budget average hotel at best .
My girlfriend and I stayed here for three days, one of which was my birthday. The room was clean, the location very good and the mountain view from the balcony was great! The staff even took my girlfriend to get balloons and decorations at 7am to surprise me when I woke up on my birthday. Fantastic! Would recommend!
Very Good for Value!!!!! We stayed here and love it so we kept staying on and they were lovely enough to give us the same price. No breakfast served unless you pre-order it the night before. Will definately come back here if we had a chance. Locations Locations Locations!! The hotel was in middle of shops, restaurant, massages and convenience store which was a plus for us. The beach was just 15 minutes walked away from the hotel to the beachfront, if you choose a closer budget hotel it would be expensive than this one. THe hotel is worth the price.
Very well located place surrounded by supermarkets, restaurants and 10-15 minutes walking to the beach. The place is clean, spacious and friendly receptionists. The only disadvantage for us was our room was located at the 3rd floor were we had to carry all the luggages by ourselves using the stairs (unfortunately they don’t have elevator) which is quite tiring at the time of check in and check out.
Had a great stay at The Nine. The balcony is huge, great location (10 minutes to Ao Nang), lots of places to eat. A/C worked well, the room was very clean. The bed was 2 smaller beds put together so there was a little gap but nothing bad. Best part of the hotel was the staff though! They were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again!
The lobby spelled mildewy when you walk in. No breakfast included when we tried to order off their menu we were only informed then that you have to order the night before. Their minivan transfer prices to Koh Lanta are 50 bhat more than everyone elses prices on the main street. Quite a long walk, 15-20 minutes, to the beach which grew a bit tiring after walking it 3-4 times a day. The room we got was an upgrade from our original booking. We received a suite which was huge and had a large couch. The room however had no views from the bacony, it was covered in wooden slats so the balcony was only good for drying clothes. We did however appreciate being off the main street and away from bar noise. The girls working the front desk were friendly and helpful if you asked for something. I would recommend staying here mostly because it is good value for money paid …
Stayed for a night with our family of 5. Booking was straightforward directly with the hotel. We were assigned 2 rooms next door to each other and on arrival was upgraded to the two side by side rooms on the 1st floor, which has the little gardens. Check in receptionist was lovely. Really friendly and welcoming. Location is excellent. Close to Cafe 8.48 for breakfast and an easy 10 minute walk to main beach. As mentioned in other reviews, the front rooms can be noisy - and it was. There was some god awful Thai singing going on, but you’re in Thailand (it was Thai New Year) and they’re having fun so for us it was all part of the experience. We had no trouble falling asleep. Ask for a rear room if you’re concerned. Price for what you get is great. Views are lovely and sunrise was spectacular. Highly recommend.…
Me and my friend stayed here for 4 nights. Very clean and I have to say there is everything you need, very central everything in walking distance. Beach is 10 min walk from the hotel. If you stay here ask for back room not on the front as its could be a bit noisy. Aung the manager or receptionist is so helpfull such a lovley person, many thanks for all her help. Would happily stay here again.
We had a very pleasant stay at the nine hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Best of all was the receptionist, named Na. She helped us with some very tricky logistics. She thought things through and called all the right people to make sure we got to where we needed to go. We could not have done it without her. The hotel nine is lucky to have her as an employee.
We had a little change of plans due to the weather so we needed to book something cheap and quick! $25/night can have everything wrong, right? SURPRISE SURPRISE! The nine was impeccable! The girl at the front desk was incredible! The rooms were quite nice considering the price, super clean and roomy and we even had a balcony! We stayed for 4 nights and to be honest The Nine was better than a lot of big resorts we stayed in before! Just book it! You won’t regret. Ps. I thought it deserved 4 because when you’re having a shower the pipes are really noisy! I couldn’t really shower when hubby was sleeping :)
