I impressed with the huge room and comfortable with balcony but in the 3rd floor without elevator. However, i am okay on that. Car park is very limited. Breakfast is not variety of food but that is not a problem.

Dear OPle23, Warm greetings from Aonang Princeville Villa Resort & Spa, and thank you very much for your kind stay and review shared. We are well delighted to hear that you enjoyed the huge and comfortable room. This is right, there is no lift in hotel, we are an Environment hotel, energy saving is concerned. The hotel has only 3rd floor is highest. Thank you once again for your comments. Anyhow, we truly hope that the next chance of stay in Krabi we could have other opportunity to serve you again. “Be our Guest Be our Family” Warmest regards, The Management. Super friendly staff, nice and clean room with huge king size bed and balcony facing the swimming pool. You are even go down to the swimming directly from stairs that connected from your room to balcony. You do not have to worry about the security, there is lock for the balcony and it is not directly facing the Main Street. Although we lived in a lower floor, no noise during nighttime and we really appreciate everything in this report. Breakfast served are not bad compare to other resort that I have stayed. I tried a few of the egg dishes and the omelette tastes yum! The only thing is that the swimming pool relatively small compare to other resorts in Krabi.

Location is excellent. Right near the corner of the main roads and opposite the beach. Close to everything you need, you are spoilt for choice and right on the doorstep to most things. The room was barely OK with a spacious balcony. The shower was hit and miss with both the water pressure and temperature. More annoying was that the towels were in poor condition and they don’t provide facewashes. The fridge worked well and kept drinks nice and cold. The bed was too soft and lumpy and the pillows were oversized and not to my liking. Room was not well sound proofed and you hear the noise well into the night from the Boogie Bar just behind the hotel. Public spaces and amenities at this hotel were kept clean and tidy including the pool and breakfast area. The pool area was pleasant enough but we’ve been spoilt with swim up bars and as this is a Muslim friendly hotel, there was no swim up bar and no alcohol served on the premises. It was strictly BYO around the pool. Breakfast for the most part was pretty good and they had a decent variety for the size of the hotel. Towards the end of our stay, the WiFi went down and it took them ages to get it going again. Service was OK. Staff seemed friendly enough but some had limited English. Fareeda at reception was excellent.

Pros: Location – great for easy access to most restaurants, money exchange outlets, convenience stores, tailors, bars, optical shops, and basically everything you need. Breakfast area is clean, and an attractive setting. The cereal selection and coffee machine offered a good array of selelctions. More about the breakfast in the Cons section below. The fridge was as good as you’d want temperature-wise, which isn’t always the case even in better hotels. I liked that they didn’t actually have anything in the fridge, so there was no tab. You can go to a nearby convenience store and put in whatever you liked. You will also find a few non-alcohol drinks in the fridge on arrival as a bonus. Swimming pool is clean however, I will list some Cons below. The manager, Fareeda, was very accommodating with politeness, helpfulness, and spoke English fluently. We are very grateful for her assistance. Cons: Swimming pool does not have gradual steps to get in & out. It has one ladder that has the first rung to get out quite high. The only other way in is by jumping in, and to get out lift yourself up. The water has no shallow end where lifting yourself out would be easier. So, what I am saying is this pool is not user friendly for the elderly or people with back problems. Another problem with the pool area is although there are menus on the little tables inbetween the poolside lounge chairs, in the 7 days we were there, not one of the staff came around asking if anyone would like to order anything. The bathroom towel situation isn’t great. They don’t have face washers, and much more disappointing was that the towels often had rips where they ripped further when drying yourself after showering. The hot Thai food available in the breakfast area was hit & miss. Mostly average. We had to ring reception a few times about different matters. Some of the staff do not understand even when you speak clear & basic English. Therefore no assistance would be received. Other times they gave us false information about our request which made us repeatedly ring for an update – absolutely useless. This had to do with the constant WIFI disconnections. Next is either a Pro, a Con, or Indifferent, depending on yourself: There was no mention in the hotel ad that the hotel followed Muslim rules. This meant that there were no pork products like bacon or ham served at the hotel. It also meant no alcohol served on the premises. We respect the religion – no problem there. However, that wasn’t ideal for us in relation to their pork & alcohol rule. We wouldn’t have stayed at the hotel if we knew that from the start. Overall, we would not stay there again. A generous 3 stars at the most. More like 2.5 stars but that isn't an option.

We had free upgrades for both rooms booked-an unexpected surprise. Establishment served no alcohol, had no loud music and its Halal certified. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was decent and the menu changes daily. Overall, our stay was pleasant and the hotels' proximity to the shopping and dining is an added plus.
