Initially when I booked this hotel I was concerned about distance from the beach. However it’s only a short walk (10 min) to the beach and other attractions. The tour information desk was very helpful, I booked all my tours and local transfer including my trip to Koh phanang full moon party through same travel desk and got very good deals. The hotel does not have breakfast but they serve complimentary bread butter and jam, pancakes and tea/coffee for all the guest. Hotel from site looks modern very furnished but interior needs some repairs (specially bathroom) The passage was little dimly lighted not sure why and never bothered to ask the reason. Overall a good and comfortable stay and will definitely stay again and recommend to other travelers. ps. Aonang Eco inn is basic budget hotel so do not set high luxury expectation (I read some reviews). You get what you pay for. 👍…
The room was dingy, nothing felt clean. The balcony overlooked a messed plot with no furniture. The bathroom had mold! Spent 30 minutes in the room while my traveling partner walked down the street and found a much more comfortable place. The staff was friendly, but the place was unclean and uncomfortable. Low cost to rent a room, but not worth it.
Great price for the rooms. Had a twin room, it was clean and air conditioned. Water bottles stocked in the room with each room service for free. Fridge, AC, clean shower and balcony overlooking the street. Comfortable beds and overall a good stay. Very occasionally we were woken by the call to pray from the mosque down the street, but overall we had good sleeps here. Good location (tops 15 mins walk to the beach) and very close to some great restaurants. Would recommend 11/1 Thai which is 5 mins walk round the corner. Would stay here again!
We stayed in this hotel ( Aonang Eco Inn, Krabi, Thailand) in November,18 and were very impressed with the hospitality and soft skills of the staff members. Although we are Indians and language challenge was there still all staff managed to understand our needs and were proactive to help. We came quite late in mid night and were afraid that whether hotel will be open or closed but when we came there was a guard who opened the hotel gate and gave us keys of our family room. It was clean, spacious and had all facilities like Ac, Small fridge, SDB, toiletries etc. Next day we asked for Any breakfast option as our room booking was shielding that it is not including any breakfast but the lady at front office told that hotel provides a basic breakfast on complimentary basis. It was a pleasant surprise and breakfast quality and options were good and fresh. They also provides scooter on rent which is a good plus. Hotel is near market and plenty of food options, massage centres and other facilities are available nearby. It’s a very safe and good hotel with all amenities, facilities which is never expected from a budget hotel. All staff are very good and will help you for any basic need and any information of city or travel guides. Special mention is of a May, Bui and Choh... I will recommend this hotel to any family with kids, Vegetarians, Late night Checkers, bike lovers etc. Very good hotel at a very reasonable price on a very good location...Go for it..👍👍…
I booked for deluxe king size bedroom, but they gave the wrong room which deluxe single bedroom and said that all rooms were booked hence cannot change the room. Staff are hyperactive, but amateur in handling customers. I do not recommend it.
Hotel was relatively clean, staff were nice and friendly. Room was ok, but not sound proof. Our room had a buzzing sound that went off every few seconds, dont know what it was but it was finally quiet after midnight. It however resumed around 4am+ and kept me awake all morning. There is a mosque nearby that also started their prayers at around 4:50am. When other customers woke up and walked around the corridor, it was clearly heard in the rooms. We stayed on the 3rd floor, near the staircase. perhaps the buzzing was from a generator or smth. Would recommend future customers to stay on a lower floor or a different room if they are staying on the 3rd floor. If you are a light sleeper, getting a hotel with more sound proofed walls would be better. However, if you arent, this hotel would be fine. My partner slept through all the sounds so clearly it will be fine for people who sleep more soundly. Breakfast was complimentary but very simple. Bread, jam and some cereal. Distance itself is ok, 15mins walk to the beach. You can get a tuktuk for 100baht if you dont want to walk. You can also rent a motorbike but the roads here can be a little dangerous.…
Employee at reception is rude. They provide bad rental services. Terms and condition are not fully explained to customer. Report to the manager but the manager also rude. Please dont take any of their services.
Its really clean, the staff is very friendly, the room was big. Really good location, near to mosque. Every room have their on balcony. Easy to find HALAL FOOD, massage only beside the hotel. It's not really near to the beach, maybe 10-15 minute walking to the beach depend on ur walking speed. A lot of good restaurant around. U can rent motorbike at the hotel. Free toast/jam/coffee/tea for breakfast. Definitely i like it to come back to Aonang Eco Inn..
We got a good deal on this hotel via hotels.com, the location was fantastic a 10 minute walk to the beach, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, free toast/jam/coffee for breakfast, stunning room with amazing view of the large rock formations and ocean view from balcony. Highly recommended
Pros: - About a 10 minute walk to the beach - Big room for what you pay for - AC works, hot water worked - Comfy, big bed (on the firmer side) - Free brewed coffee (and toast) in the morning. In Thailand, getting a coffee elsewhere is about 60-70 Baht ($2 USD) for 8oz. - Front desk staff were very friendly Cons: - They were doing construction on all the rooms around me, so lots of loud noises going on all through the day. Not a huge deal as I was out most of the day, but it did wake me up twice. - Had someone try to enter my room while I was there with a do not disturb sign on the door. Did not knock. Asked them what they were doing and they said "wrong room". - They called me halfway through my stay to say they need me to move to a different room because they're needed to renovate my room. - The site I booked through said they had 24-hour reception, they very much do not. I was here in the "low" season so its unlikely they'd be doing this stuff during the high season and someone could probably have a good experience here.…
