This is a small hotel with 22 bedrooms but limited facilities. Our bedroom on the top floor was spacious with excellent views but was in need of refurbishing. The shower tray was badly stained and the washbasin cabinet MN needed replacing. The garden area which is populated with Sun beds as there is limited space around the pool, is also... More

We stayed here for one night in July for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was unbelievable, I cried when we were shown our room, it was set out beautifully. We had a tray with fresh fruit and wine and the room was decorated also. A beautiful hotel and so quiet, which is what we wanted. We had the pool to... More

Palmetto is set in beautiful gardens in a quieter area of Selimiye. The village has a great marina, super range of restaurants and very welcoming hosts. There is none of the pressure that is sometimes apparent in other Turkish resorts. The room we were allocated was fine, but had a view overlooking the school. There was no problem to upgrade... An excellent place to relax and have a rest. For 8 years we always come back to this place with my husband. You have the sea, a swimming pool, nice breakfast, clean rooms and excellent fish restaurant. Always ready, kind and helpful staff, the lady at reception and her little daughter, all wonderful people.

Pool is a nice size and although only 6 sunbeds there isnt room for more. But plenty in the adjoining garden and on the pontoon. We... More

I agree with the "Quiet Idyll" review, we had read the reviews before we went and I can honestly say ALL the negative ones were totally unfounded! The staff couldn't do enough for you, the rooms a re spotless and the bedding and towels are changed everyday. The food in the hotel for breakfast improved by the weekend once the... More

Firstly, Seliminye is a quiet unspoilt holiday village with few foreign tourists, so it is not for those who want a busy night life. The Palmetto appears to be one of the best hotels and pensions in town. We found the other criticisms on this site now unfounded. The bathroom, although perhaps not suited to the larger person, was perfectly... More

“If you travel with Anatolian Sky you will be placed in a room at the back of the hotel overlooking the school yard, they have very small terraces and are only a couple of feet from the boundary fence. If you want a front facing room with a view of the sea, pool or gardens you will have to pay extra.”
