I was so excited to stay in this place because it's different from the rest of the best western I have been... BUT this is WON'T be your place if you want to rest or you are looking for peaceful night. Due to the prime location, you can hear the noise from the streets ... all night long. Then you...

The place is nice and looks clean but that's a facade only. There were roaches in the bathroom area. We found a bed bug crawling on our luggage after being in the closet all night. And the sheets didn't look so clean. They had mold spots on them and upon closer examination at the foot of the bed, there was...

It was ok nothing to write home about. Hot water was not hot. Internet on the 5th floor was not available. No elevator. Breakfast was coffee and a banana. Parking was very limited. Probably would not stay there again,

Dear Nancy Thank you for your comments, I’m sorry about the internet, since this is a brick building it is very difficult to get a good signal everywhere in the hotel, but we´re working on it to make it better. The hotel does not have a fifth floor, it is 3 story building, in the top floor the rooms are...

A last minute trip to Ensenada on a cold and rainy December 2016 night and needed a room so the location in downtown was perfect. Liked the free parking within the courtyard, the staff at the reception desk was friendly and efficient, the room/bathroom are dated (as others have reported) but maintenance and cleanliness is as good as could be....

The room I was in was a mini-suite. Clean and quiet. This hotel appears to have had a recent facelift, and some of the rooms are being worked on. The staff is very helpful. The location is very close to Ensenada's waterfront, which has also been spruced up.

This is the fourth time I am returning to Ensenada. The reason is simple, Excellent dental care by the best dentist I have ever encountered in my life! Dr Ortiz, Clinica del Puerto is centrally located and is walking distance from the El Cid. The hotel has safe free parking and a dedicated staff! Sometimes there is an employee that...

It was a Basketball Tournament with Nephews, Hotel was in the right spot, at walking distance to shops, restaurants. Hotel needs an upgrade, specially the bathroom. Overall we were comfortable and would stay here again.

This is one of the oldest hotels in Ensenada, and has been maintained in very good condition. Has a very nice pool area in the back, free parking, and free bottled water in the rooms as well. We had a 3rd floor unit overlooking the main street with a small balcony. Street noise was not an issue. Rooms are very...

This hotel is just a block off of the main tourist zone. The hotel was in a great location. There are restaurants and shopping all within a few blocks. The front desk was very friendly and gave us great advice of a reasonable restaurant. The decor is nice and room was spacious.

This hotel is convenient if you would like something very close to, or in the Tourist Zone. It has free parking. I found sleeping there difficult, it is dated with few updates.
